Enjoyed watching the WZZQ movie recently and enjoyed this interview. Glad to see Perez is doing well - worked with him between the ZZQ and Supertalk days.

WZZQ was great, just great. It was a special effort to try to tune it in from Delta State and later - the same thing - at Southern Miss. But the difficulty tuning in only made it more special when the rare pristine connection was made. One memory is after The Band was in concert at Southern along with Chris Hillman - walking out and hearing Sergio from ZZQ. Of course, not knowing Serge from sight but hearing him talk - unmistakable. Also, the coverage for Fleetwood Mac, who turned out to be NOT Fleetwood Mac - with other stand-in musicians. Bu the thing is: Cool was at least partially defined by what you listened to and ZZQ came through with flying colors.
