    I think the best thing I ever did was start playing w/ high performance electric pitbikes like this, it's been so much fun and I love learning and seeing other people's builds.... Coming from a lifetime of BMX I needed something low impact but just as much fun and this is definitely the way. Currently running a 48v 2000w kit on a Razor Mx650 and it's fast but I'm planning on doing a few changes to make it pretty similar to this but all street and possibly street legal... Just have to figure out how to install pedals to get around the laws and of course headlight and brake lights/turn signals, then I can have it as a registered moped. 😁

    Great video, you got a new subscriber. Also I just bought my son the same bike, can you tell me the exact parts I need to tune it, he has a Kawasaki 85cc to so the mxr will be way under powered standard.

      Yeah I'm also awaiting an answer on this one.
      I think maybe it cost a fair bit but if you adjust for research and development then that info alone could be well worth sitting on for a minute.

    I bought a mxr1600 for my son, and the brakes on these are rubbish.

    I was going to buy one of these but opted to buy a 50cc x-treme put a 3000w motor 72v battery and 150a sabvoton controller thing rips so nice hits about 55 mph and I’ve geared it for that off the line power also had to put higher bars on better shock ect

    I ordered a Mototec 48v which is the US version. Can't wait to change up the controller and battery. Probably go with a Kelly controller though. I think that might give more space for batteries. We'll see.

      @@tiktak7300 definitely controller 1st I'd say. You can get a Kelly 24-72v for under $150. Even less if you go with a lower voltage / amperage controller. You'll be able to get more out of your current battery and motor like this but eventually the factory batteries are going to tire out then it's time for upgrades. How do you like the bike stock?

      @@StrillLife The bike is alright, but there is definitely room for improvement. If you are a full sized adult it feels more like a kids bike than a pit bike.

      It's Hadleigh Bike Park it's very picturesque for video but tbh it's for mountain bikes and dog walkers I wouldn't take a fast ebike over here regular, will upset a lot of people lol. Yeah lipos can be scary af 😂 ok if you keep an eye on them, I monitor the cells keep it balanced? never leave it unattended while charging and it's been OK

    You are sick of people asking you what the top speed is?. It's my favorite question they can ask. I bought for 1200 pound a 3000w rear driven wheel with a 72v battery. My top speed is ....58 mph !! 0-58 in 5 seconds using a 20 year old Kona Kula With Rock shock front suspension and hard tail rear end and I use it responsibly but if I need to go faster then the option is there.

    You should check the alignment on your rear tire/sprocket. That grinding noise can be gotten rid of, it is the chain grinding on the sprocket. Apparently this is a common issue they are misaligned from the factory.

      it’s a brushed motor that’s the noise u do get noise from chain tensioner tho more of a clicking

    This has a 1.5kw motor and a sur ron has 4 or 5kw this one has 72v but the sur rob has 60 or smth. But can buy a better battery that is 72v so how is yourse faster? Makes no sence

      Are you OK? I've raced a standard sur ron in a video is much quicker. It's nearly 7000w in a tiny pitbike doesn't take Einstein to figure out power to weight ratio does it 🤡

    I’m running my Moto Tech at 72 V and it is a much smoother well rounded machine. Your programming is clearly way off that Bike should not jerk and buck! you need to learn the basics of programming before you just throw a controller on anything and say good enough. What makes it worse is showing it to the world
