And then Ray makes his appearance and things get interesting.

Ya, it goes from a screwball comedy to neo noir crime/thriller real fast once ol' Ray pops in. Love this movie!

great movie, good band, I just don't like the song Fame by Bowie or anyone. I don't like FUNK.

Though the instrumental at the end is good.

I kind of understand what you mean because even as someone who enjoys FUNK it seems inherently corny, highly highly reccomend Sly Stone's "Africa Talks To You (the asphalt jungle)" if you like the ending and can tolerate the beginning it'll turn you around on at least that particular brand of FUNK

@@thepuppethead1188 Yeah, corny and jarring which could be good but not with Funk. Maybe I like bassier sounds from a guitar though there are many exceptions. I can tolerate but wouldn't want to listen to Sly's song. As far as a couple of funk songs I really love: James Brown :there was a time: and Tyrone Davis' :Baby can I change my mind: But are subtle funk.. Thanks for writing.

@@oppothumbs1 not even There's A Riot Goin' On? Odd that record has like a dense midrange sound on speakers that I find to be very loose and interesting compared to the usual insitent, repitive force of the conventional FUNK music. The electric period Miles Davis and second Funkadelic LP same deal.
