Very cool. My problem with developers of these vehicles are that they are in a perpetual state of development and never get to a point of selling vehicles. Some examples: Moller International (Paul Moller has been developing since the 60's), Martin Jetpack, Terrafugia.
There is always a newer, better model in development, but never one that can be sold.
Then, inevitably funding dries up, because investors want returns, and the developer becomes a memory.
Jetpack Aviation, please learn from other people's mistakes.
That's because they're never ready to be sold. Many of the ideas are just floated to see if the military will bite. Take for example, this video. This device, speeder, will never be sold and used in the fashion shown. Why? The amount of noise, heat, and general downwash from this thing would be so disruptive to the ground below that such a device will never be used. Hence the drone version. That's what they're really trying to sell here, but again, not going to happen. (In the case of the drone the above criticism applies, but also range. Additionally, given the military has better working devices already for this kind of transport)
Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see something like this become a reality for the general populace, but for that to happen, we need better ideas. Better ideas that don't totally ignore, or gloss over, major shortcomings of these type vehicles.

for a long time and uses very little fuel .
The good news is--you'll always have sufficient fuel to reach the site of the crash.

$380,000, 4 turbine engines, up to 150mph, 10-20 minute flight time, 15,000 feet maximum altitude, 250 pounds max capacity, bike weighs 230 pounds unfueled, The Ultralight version will not require a pilots licence. The Experimental category version will require a pilots licence and at least a class 3 aviation medical. We are working with the FAA to reduce the minimum licence to be either a Recreational Pilot Certificate or Sports Pilots License.
And I'll bet a Basic Med medical certificate will suffice if it's not used commercially; just for personal use.

Add an emergency parachute to it and I'll sign up for a waiting list! There are even airplane parachutes (ballistic recovery system) and I see no reason why even a regular parachute wouldn't be enough for this vehicle. Parachute handles can be extended to the interior.
For me this is the face of the future! I can't wait

But if that somebody is jetpack guru David Mayman, it's worth your while listening, because Mayman has some seriously impressive achievements under his belt. We first spoke with Mayman back in 2015, when he and the JB-9 jetpack made a spectacular public debut flying around the Statue of Liberty. Since then, JPA has built several new iterations of its personal flight device. Mayman's been gallivanting about the world making spectacular aerial appearances at air races, motor races, and wherever else a rocketman show is required. He's become FAA registered as the world's only certified jetpack trainer, and begun training civilians on how to fly the things. - So, perhaps a little knowledge before you make an off hand comment like some I've read below.
EXTREME Investor CAUTION is what is being called for! Glenn Martin, residing in New Zealand (David Mayman is from Australia), made similar announcements and promises, wasting more than NZ$80m of investor funding on his so called JETPACK. He listed his company on the Australian Stock Exchange in February 2015, then sold all of his allocated free MJP shares, making a few hundred thousand dollars. He then resigned from Martin Aircraft Company, the firm he founded. MJP shares were placed in a trading halt on the ASX in September 2017 for not submitting their financial report on time. They subsequently delisted from the ASX and moved on to the New Zealand based USX bourse. Once again, currently (23 March 19) placed in another trading halt for failing to submit yet another financial report. They took out a huge NZ$10m loan from a Chinese bank some time ago, had a year to repay it and failed at that as well. Test flight licence surrendered to the NZ authorities, almost all staff resigned, including the chief test pilot, Prospero 'Paco' Uybarreta and majority Chinese owned, not responding to written investor enquiries. There is so many concepts today with great visualizations of these vehicles through technology. That's the easy part as in the old days it was on the drawing board. It's too bad in the old days there were more prototypes than today's concepts

nice render. But the best helicopter can do 11 MPG whereas a compact car can do 139 MPG... one order of magnitude to go for helicopters, never mind a "flying bike" . BTW where is the fuel tank and how big is it? By the render is seems that the f-bike can do near 100 miles so the tank should be at least 20 gallon size (three times larger a normal bike)... assuming optimal efficiency from the lifting device (i.e. magical motors?)
This is really neat. My own vision for a jetbike is very different from this layout, though. Rather than using a cluster of microturbines, with their short TBO and finicky reliability, my concept uses a single, large turbine in a configuration similar to a Harrier Jump Jet, with a single large turbofan running longitudinally through the craft's frame, with the engine feeding thrust into vectoring nozzles. There would be no airfoils or control surfaces at all; all control would be achieved by thrust vectoring. It would be fast, maneuverable, and efficient, but perhaps lacking in redundancy. A whole-aircraft recovery system is a must.
When you are in a constant state of hovering, not flying ie no wings, you are going to burn a lot of fuel.

You need multiple jets, you have to have opposing forces.
Hmmm....in order to fly a jet turbine aircraft the FAA requires an Air Transport license...but to even qualify for that training you first need to have a Private Pilot license, Instrument Rating and Multi-engine rating. Total cost...about $65K. I doubt many people will be able to afford to fly this thing.

Hmm, I sure hope the intake would be ducted elsewhere in the prototype, leaning on top of compressor fans as it runs is a scary thought.
Having absolutely ANYTHING getting sucked into the intakes would get messy real quick!

The design of the speeder leverages what they already know and did for the jet pack they already make, so they can make the speeder easy. I would love to see a functional prototype as soon as possible. Any chance to disclose when can that happen?
I am very happy that the team has opted to go for a one seater motor-bike type aircraft. Absolutely thrilling and exciting route lays ahead. Flight time being 10-22 mins, i wonder how much that can increase if the wings on the speeder are increased to take advantage of the upward aerodynamic force when moving at speeds of 100km/hr+. Does the wing rotate or is it fixed? . Since it is has vtol capability, a question that comes to mind is how much distance has to be crossed in order to come to a full stop at a speed of 100km/hr?
I would like to suggest something even if it may not be feasible, if you are able to partner up with a high-end hyper car manufacturer and have the recreational speeder be a joint endeavor. Hyper car makers do produce in low volume for high end customers and have expertise in making things that are custom made, carbon fiber and aerodynamic.
As to address skepticism it is understandable...pre-orders are open and a functional prototype isn't showcased. Knowing JetPack aviation and their journey despite the relatively small team on-board, they are indeed passionate and they can make the speeder happen.
