I spent the night in the Lexington during a school field trip. Worse sleep ive ever had, i felt a presence of someone walking and looking at me during my sleep. We did a night scavenger hunt and when we were on the runway my group and i felt like we were followed and looked at. Some girls saw a men walking in the engine room but the ship was closed only for us

When I visited the Lexington a couple of decades ago, I saw two navy corpmen in vintage uniforms turn left at a corner near the hospital area and when I proceeded down the hallway the open path was to the right and the way left was a locked heavy metal door. I hope being there is for happy reasons and not otherwise.

I believe it, took a picture of a Mannequin in the mess hall in the 1st window and in the 2nd window but same big window the Mannequin head is turned 2 different ways when I passed through 1st & 2nd window and the last deck to tour I couldn't breath within a couple of minutes and had to go up to next deck asap

I was thinking of all the US Navy ships that you can still board as a museum ship, the USS Lexington has to be one of those with the highest death toll aboard due to the 1944 kamikaze attack and the training accidents in later life (for a total of a little over 50). But then I remembered the USS Intrepid which suffered around 270. I can't think of any others which would be higher off the top of my head. USS Iowa had the turret explosion in the 80's which I think killed just under 50.

I just visited the U.S Lexington earlier today , & as I was walking down the stairs my purse / wallet unzipped & changed spilled … then I ZIPPED my purse back up again all the way … then I felt like I was being watched ( I was alone ) so I looked down a dark hallway .. then i felt uncomfortable & turned the other direction & my purse unzipped again !! & more change spilled out . ( this NEVER happens at all ! ) I truly believe it was a spirit letting me know they’re here or trynna play around with me

I served on her from Dec.79 (Philly) to aug 81, I was on lookout watch when Seaman Apprentice “Lehman Johnson) aka. “Lee” jumped overboard thinking he would get out of the Navy..he had just gotten a dear John letter from his girlfriend back home, so he jumped! I wanna say I was on the 8-12 watch, i heard a splash and he jumped just to the left of where I was posted, and a deck above me.. well, unfortunately we never found him and he was listed as “missing at sea”. Following that tragic suicide of Lee, about 2 months after, me and another sailor , my buddy Dennis D, he was a cook, we were having a smoke in my Berthing area at about 10 pm, underway, planes were flying night ops, we were berthed just below the catapults, so it was somewhat noisy, in a comforting way? Lol… anyhow we saw a sailor dressed in dungarees, and a ball cap, but he was moving fast with a book in his hand heading to the head! We were both freaked out and followed after a few minutes of building up some courage, well , we went in the head, and he wasn’t there! To this day I say it was Lee…. I hope it was this man’s dad, but, it just might be Lee….🇺🇸⚓️💪🏼💪🏽✌🏼

I got to stay 3 nights on the Lexington when I was 13, we slept in the same quarters the sailors did. I was with the boy scouts and some of us did sneak around at night and go past the do not enter signs and eventually got to the tower room and there was a man in a chair staring out the window and this was 2 or 3 a.m. and he had no reaction to us so we screamed and ran back to bed. 2003

The only time I’ve felt strange in there is when I was in the engine bay on that rebuilt lady lex I felt like someone else was there and I was with my dad and one other stranger down there and my hair was up like someone else was there don’t know why I had that feeling but I did.

We just visited the lex and I will say it is haunted I heard stories but didn’t believe until we went we were near the chapel when we heard someone knocking on the walls when we walked away the knocks got louder when we looked behind the wall there was nothing there there was no way someone could even knock on those walls which made it more suspicious

I spent the night on the Lexington when I was in boy scouts but we never saw anything paranormal.
