I'm spending a few days in Northern Italy to find the famous filming locations of one of my favorite movies: "Call Me by Your Name". Meanwhile I arrived in the beautiful town of Crema where most of the scenes have been filmed. Let's try to find the famous square where Oliver and Elio were sitting - and the old door where it got even more romantic.

Great Video. The guy on the magazine is Daryl Hall from Hall & Oates. If you take a closer look you can read the name in the lower right hand corner. Plus Rick Astley became famous in the late 80's (87 or 88 IIRC).

5:48 I think that those posters are advertising movies for the Cinema Vittoria a movie theater in Crema. The right one I'm pretty sure it's Tootsie with Dustin Hoffman, the left one is tougher to spot, maybe it's Tron. Both are 1982 movies, so where released the year before, and this is expected for a tiny place like Crema in 1983. Nice job, your videos are just great, and you deserve a larger audience.

Ich glaube in den 80ern durfte man auch in Italien in den kleinen Dörfern noch in den Zentren und kleinen Gassen parken, solange Anlieferer noch durchkamen. Zumal es noch weit weniger Autoverkehr gab und die Auto extrem klein waren.
