This is crazy accurate. I went to one of these back in the 90s that my cousin was in. They had this wheels on the bus sketch that abruptly turned into something about self cutting.
@@TheNoiseySpectator he is the one that is really tall and white and kinda chubby, but don't confuse him with Beck, because Taran has darker hair. He is also the one that moved his hands around a lot during the dances
These are so much like something you'd see at my middle/high school (and that was nearly 25 years ago), it's scary. Trying so hard to be poignant and thought-provoking, yet completely missing the mark
Taran always kills me in these. The way he moves his arms when the beat starts up 🤣Taran was always very underappreciated, and not used anywhere near enough. He was really freaking funny, and nailed everything they gave him. Kyle too. Kyle was so good at everything. So funny. Both did not get enough credit or attention.
Oh god the black clothes and the converse and the in between scene set ups and the improv part brings back middle school drama class memories where we thought we were cool “thespians” but in reality just looked like this haha

I always thought The Girl You Wished You Hadn't Started a Conversation With at a Party should have appeared in one of these sketches. It would have been a hilarious crossover! 😆
That first scene was really meaningful, though. How the Earth was dying and everybody living on it just neglected and ignored it until it was too late. Save the Earth, folks.
I had a girlfriend about a decade ago in Greenwich Village who used to take me to these shows, so yes, they are a thing and they nailed the high horse/bad acting combo perfectly
This is crazy accurate. I went to one of these back in the 90s that my cousin was in. They had this wheels on the bus sketch that abruptly turned into something about self cutting.
Holy cow this is funny.

holy shit elaborate lol
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round--ouch. I cut--I bleed--for the wheels.

Kenan has suffered through so many of these ... but I can never figure out who he's there to see.

Probably most Saturday Night Live cast members we in high school theatre and thats how they know how to play it.

The in between scene music is such a jam. I can't get it out of my head.

I miss his Brad Pitt. I could literally listen to him do that for hours. 🤣🤣🤣
I don't know why they let him go. SNL needs talent like his again.
