We have American Integrity it jumped from 1600 to 2000 to over 4000 to now over 6000. We are dropping them. We had to get a wind mitigation/4 pt but so worth it. We have never had a claim and have had them for years. I am guessing its a good thing we do not have any claims.
American Integrity is a scam shell corporation that you would have to sue to get paid on a claim. Florida should shut these Florida LLC Insurers down, they are nothing but fraud, and Fannie Mae needs to get involved, since it’s their requirement and their interest in the properties being defrauded.
This was incredibly helpful; thank you so much. We are looking at a 2024 or 2025 move to FL. I've heard that there are better times of the year to move to Florida, for the best savings on homeowners insurance. Do you have any tips on this?
Helpful information here, (thank you) that confirms my suspicion: Fl homeowners' insurance is a scam and the legislators and governor are in on it. Their most recent laws gut homeowner rights and force mortgage holders to make exorbitant payments to racketeers. The idea that one's home is protected has become pure fantasy. Almost nobody gets what they thought they paid for. It's mostly extortion to satisfy bank requirements.
Holy cow almost signed a contract with American integrity but after getting to the arbitration part, I was questioning why was there so many signatures. Luckily, I found your video and now understand what arbitration is and how terrible and nightmare it would be. Thank you!
Hi there, it appears rates will continue to rise I see no end in site. I don't really see any area with "low rates" everyone is being crushed. Especially since FL home values keep rising
@@theclaimsquadpublicadjusters Agreed, and the state govt. is only granting license to steal. The only strategy I've seen work is to have an appraiser separate the value of the building from the value of the land, and then base coverage exclusively on the building, (instead of "market value") as the insurer is not going to be paying to replace the land under the building.
Kin is why I'm here. My policy went up $500 year over year (this is only my first whole year with them) and they sent this scammy form about extra coverage that you are auto optioned into and have to decline. They also conveniently left out a return envelope and did not provide return instructions or an address other than the one on the outside of the envelope...
Mike. Amazing information! Very informative. My house is a villa 1,200 sqft builtin 1984. It is paid off(no mortgage). I have been thinking in self insure paying only for fire, theft, liability and slip and fall. Citizen switched me to Slide. I.had 6 months ago a 4 point inspection and a wind mitigation. It said the roof has 40 yrs life. Silde quote up $1,000. It will be $6,000.00 at renewal in May. What would you do if this was your situation? Thanks so much for taking the time to educate us.
What about Sure insurance company and State Farm? Buying a new construction not sure what to pick. I get quotes from companies I do know relatively cheap vs well know companies.
Hi, Mike ~ I live on the west coast of Florida (Clearwater), but not on the beach and my home is in a no evac zone. I have had Homeowner's Choice for several years and you rated it high in 2022. My annual premium is almost triple of the quote that State Farm gave me for a Citizens policy (my 2,019 sq ft home is apparently too big for the State Farm policy ~ go figure), so I am shopping around to see if I can get a more affordable policy that doesn't sacrifice coverage. I have owned my home for 40 years and have never filed a claim. In 2018, I had all hurricane impact resistant windows & entry doors and garage door installed and had a new roof put on in January 2023. What's your opinion?
I would go with the cheaper quote. Homeowners Choice has slipped big time. State Farm is terrible but these days any Florida company are so bad that it doesn't matter much
Hi Mike, sure am grateful for running across your video. My current company (Slide) wants to raise my premiums by 131%!!! So, I’m shopping for HO insurance (something I loathe to do). Just had a new wind mit. And 4-point inspection. Our roof needs replacing and we just had solar panels installed Jan. 2022. I’ve be looking at several companies. Just found out about SageSure (a relatively new player in FL). Do you know much about them? (I live in Bradenton)
Hey Mike FYI Castle TV is no longer writing new policies for Florida. Also would it be a good idea to photo and video the inside and outside of your house when you take ownership? Thanks once again for all you do Mike!
None of the best companies you listed are taking any other policies due to risk. Maybe if you're a millionaire who has to pay a high premium, I'm sure they would gladly take that risk. However, the regular folks keep getting cancelled and denied even getting a quote.
They have cut back on their policies I've had some good results with them but I got hired by a few people for Hurricane Ian claim and they have completely ignored these poor people. I've had a few lawsuits against them and they drag it out. Strange company I'd prob say 4 out of 10
Looking for a homeowners insurance for my new construction. What do you think of sagesure, Edison and southern oak? I got a quote from tower hill. A bit expensive
The Florida based companies are not public. Just the big ones like SF, Allstate, Progressive but they stay off the coastal areas and have limited exposure

There is no better time for savings unfortunately
It's a BIG problem

Definitely do not do arbitration total nightmare. 👍
Just received a letter from Citizens that they are dropping me and need to pick btw Southern Oak or Monarch. Who should I pick? Thanks for any help.
Thank you very much for your video. It was right on time. Any recommendations for HO6 condo policy insurance carrier in Stuart area (East Florida)?

Is it about arbitration? If so decline arbitration. If not, please specify the coverage they're talking about

Thank you for the kind words. Maybe see what other companies are writing policies in your area to see what other options are available

Do you have any information about Monarch National Insurance company?
Monarch is part of FedNat
They aren't that bad
Do you have information on spinnaker insurance company? Thank you!!!

I don't think that's necessary but won't hurt. Your inspection report will cover things to protect you.

The Best are still in business soon more co will drop out and soon the PA’s and lawyers will be packing
What about Florida Peninsula Insurance in Boca Raton?
They have cut back on their policies
I've had some good results with them but I got hired by a few people for Hurricane Ian claim and they have completely ignored these poor people. I've had a few lawsuits against them and they drag it out. Strange company I'd prob say 4 out of 10
Universal is gone now in the state fund good luck with that

Stay away from Edison
SageSure and Southern not bad
American integrity still a no? I am getting so many quotes from them
@@Jose71695 if they were only company I guess so but if you have other options I wouldn't touch "No" Integrity
Which is the best company to SELL for? Best commissions/training etc (I’m in south florida)
I'm not privy to that info but companies usually offer additional commission depending on their goals of policies written
Any thoughts on Tower Hill?
Not great but not as bad sometimes as others
Which of these are publicly traded and which of these will get slaughtered if a hurricane hits Miami or ft Lauderdale?
The Florida based companies are not public. Just the big ones like SF, Allstate, Progressive but they stay off the coastal areas and have limited exposure
What's your take on Loggerhead?
Have no clue about them....they must be new. I think they are owned by a hedge fund
What about KIN?
Terrible
They raised double last year then triple this year 😢
@@tessaambler8715 their policies are horrible too
Horrible
Who really cares about the "Quality of Policy" if the claim payout is low?
Why bother ! I don’t get it . If you don’t have a mortgage?
If you don't have a mortgage and not going to insure your house then no need to worry about this video 👍
Castle Key no longer writing new policies
Doesn't surprise me
speed 1.75
Slide is not an insurance company . They're a technology company. Probably the worst insurance company ever. Avoid
I believe owned by Hedge Fund too
What about Geico?
Geico doesn't write policies in Florida. They subcontract with one of the crappy insurance companies in Florida.
