Where are the best insurance companies for houses and cars for 2024 I see the insurance video for 2021 but where is 2024 and I enjoyed your video thank you
@siddharthtripathi2341 The company is good. The aren’t and what coverage you need is going to be as or more important. Home, talk about your roof coverage, water backup and liability limits. Deductibles etc… the defaults are less than preferred if the agent is new. I do have an auto and home insurance 101 that might help you understand the coverage better
I'm kind of surprised at Progressive - I have both my home & auto with them right now. Granted, I haven't had any claims thus far with them, so I don't know personally what their claims process is like, but that is kind of surprising.
Ive talked to many who love Progressive. Its an A+ financial rating of strength. Most say Progressive pays their claims. Even people who had just got auto by progressive. So, yes they pay claims. It does matter what limits you choose for liability and property damage. Make your agent tailor it to you, and educate you on what those limits mean.
I've had Progressive for yrs left and had to get a payout because someone had an accident in my car which was a used so they only paid me the actual car value for my car considering that I was technically at fault because the person that was driving was definitely at fault and my car was totaled. I believe that they were fair. It was quick but I'd also been hit from behind and was paid to in 10 days-2wks and got my car fixed but it was new and I wasn't at fault.
@ThinkInsurance That tells me all I need to know, lol I have an old roof in coastal VA and that was about the only company I could get an okay quote for. I think I'll just have to get a new roof at this point. Insurance is going to be killer without it.
@lindanorris2455: I was paying $1311 in 2023 with Travellers. In 2024, Travellers increased my home insurance to $1853. They told me the increase is across the board in NJ.
This guy knows nothing. 1) Insurance companies just pay the contractors the insured chooses, so delays are on contractors. 2) Safeco policies are absolutely not unique. Nor does Safeco offer better coverages. I've represented Safeco for 30 years, so I know. 3) Blaming agents is ridiculous. Agents are barely involved in claims. Of course, agents can miss placing certain coverages like Sewer Backup, but that leaves the agent open to malpractice actions. We rep Safeco, Progressive/ASI, Travelers, Chubb, Cincinnati, Westfield, Grange, Acuity, Auto-Owners; and Auto-Owners or Cincinnati are the best for claims. Travelers and Westfield are also very good. Chubb and Cincinnati are great on high value homes. I would never insure my own home with Safeco or Progressive/ASI if that tells you anything. Lastly, on larger claims, i recommend policyholder hire a Public Adjuster to negotiate the claim with carriers.
JD power is not an independent organization. The best insurance company is travelers then.Ay, then auto owners then Germantown. The mutual venum claw, then maybe USAA.The worst insurance companies are of course state farm allstate farmers always
USAA just sent me my yearly payment AND...they are out of their F minds. They are raising my premium 100% with only one claim that I filed with them in 20 years. They are not taking care of the military community, they are full of it.
AAA left me on foot 55 miles from my home, they said they only provide 3 FREE towings per year, SO, if you have multiple vehicles, beware! I couldn't repair my car on the road because it was on dirt road and unable to lift it to work on the starter.

You are a very literate person and precise on your comments. Thank you!
REALLY TOUGH TO FOLLOW! too much yack yack not enough actual talking about facts. Ranking them by auto and home made it that much worse!
Im absolutely afraid of Progressive after my car was t-boned and they refused to fix it.
Progressive and AAA are the wors
Can’t find the list of independent agents
My insurance company was extremely affordable until recently when I received a bill for a very high amount, that is double of what I was paying.
I wanted know about home insurance and you talk about auto!
Progressive is keeping their rates lower than the competition, but then drags their feet on paying claims?!
*Shocked Pikachu face.

Progressive is a good company IF, you and/or the agent set up the coverage correctly.

Have any thoughts on private flood insurance companies? Very familiar with FEMA. Want to know private flood insurance companies. Thanks
Most companies you prefer are fine, the will be the same prices. The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulates flood insurance prices.
Dude you don’t know about JD power they are paid to play they also owns all of the car sale companies and yet they rate the cars
huh? your grammar is terrible. Don't understand you at all.
What are you talking about? Too many words. Not enough information. 😢
Thoughts on Sagesure?
I’ve never heard of them 🤷♂️

3A always covered drivers with a valid driver license.
