Second thing’s second: These planners are NOT JUST FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS. They are just dated July 2024-June 2025, which could be called an academic calendar, but could also just be a normal person calendar? It’s a whole thing and we get into it in the video. The Portrait Layout!! I used to do something similar in the bullet journal I started with. It was absolutely the best view for me! But, prepping the bujo was tedious. I'm excited to try it out!

Hi, I was looking something up this morning and ran across this info: the Western Church and most of the world follow the Gregorian calendar- the Eastern Orthodox churches follow the Julian calendar. 😊

I have been teaching for three years and I think I've finally found my ideal planner for the school year! I am a horizontal personal planner, and I plan on trying out the portrait orientation this year either for work, exclusively, or for a work/personal combo. Thank you, ladies, for your beautiful work and lovely personalities!!
I am really excited about the spiral binding and Monday start... those are my planner must haves. I won't get a planner without those.

I love the Pilot Frixion pens for appointments, etc. but often use Uniball Clena, fountain pen, Zebra for headings, etc

The Project Planner has literally changed my life to use as a primary monthly dashboard/master categorized task list (plz don’t kill it 😭), but that Portrait Planner tho…may have to try??? Yall really have the most amazing energy and I’m so excited I found this brand 🥳
LOL...bedwear! I just added project pages inserts to my horizontal and I LOVE it! I have a little OCD so I am like the fall semester kicks off the academic year and it makes sense to have the fall and spring semesters in ONE planner....should I switch to that vertical spiral one....hmmmmmm....should I switch to the mini project with horizontal inserts since I now am using the .38 pens.....DECISIONS, DECISIONS. The planner covers are BEAUTIFUL and the choices are fantastic. I love when a small business is headed in the right direction. Keep up the GREAT work!!

Maybe call the new mid-year "Summer Start" planners? The Franklin planners I used to use called them July Start planners. I'm excited about your new mid-year planners.
I just started using my first LD (therefore undated) planners two weeks ago, May start, and it's a lifelong dream planner come true. I am a permanent user!
I plan to turn some pages in the back, or inserts I'll purchase, into May and June spreads next year, and then switch to the July start 9 x 12 horizontal.
*Perhaps consider selling undated monthly page packets for those who start off-season with an undated planner, like I did, for them to use to be able to transition into a dated planner* which would be very helpful.
The Portraits are nice, though not for me, and I can really see them being used by people who need to haul their planners around with them on the go.

In Aus it’s our financial year (jul-jun) and there are always planners in the store for those dates

In a future video on the portrait planners, can we please see how the LD sticky notes fit? Right now, I cut old ones to fit, but I think I'm ready to just have those perfectly sized stickies on hand.

For the teacher planner instead of so many lesson plan pages I’d use club/sports/activities pages for sponsoring a club or coaching. A place to put important information/project planning type/random notes.
Put a sticker over any heading you don't want and make it your own!

I am forever frozen in deciding if I do an academic calendar year or just a regular year. I would use the planner for work which goes by calendar year but I've never been able to switch out of an academic year mindset.
It is so hard to switch!

We haven't tried yet! We just use the Mini for journaling. But I'd think it'd be great :)
Any of the schools that I’ve worked at require that digital plans either be printed out. Etc in case a storm comes, internet is down (which happens more often than you think (IT people say it’s because the state doesn’t have enough bandwidth, i.e., even since COVID when so many lessons are now internet based

For laymen like me - what is the difference between the coil and spiral in practice!?
Yes! The spiral is a continual piece of wire while the coil sort of bends around the planner as binding. So they just function slightly differently!
How do the sticky notes fit in the small horizontal “this week?”
They're a little too big :)
I love, love all the new funzies! But.. I honestly was hoping the vertical planner was just the regular planner turned vertically. It really bugs me to write in a planner where the spiral is in the way of my hand as I go across. I would love to see the regular planner turned vertically so the same spiral is at the top of the planner. That way, the spiral never gets in the way of my writing. I would be all over that product. Regular calendar year vertical planner turned vertically? (That's a mouthful!) I would love to see that planner someday. But, as always, you ladies rock, and your talents are amazing! Love the new colors, stickies, and patterns!!!

I make my own pages for that. I had my final exam schedule on my dashboard for the month of May and I had my course schedules on the dashboards for each month. Look up some bujo stuff and make your dashboard customizable to fit your needs.
