Thank you so much for the review. I am an early childhood educator for now 3 years here in Oklahoma. I am in love with the new layout of the teachers planner. With this layout it will give me more room not only plan what I am going to teach my students ,but also allows me to plan the activities we are going to do for the week.
As a teacher, it’s great to see an actual teacher review the planner. I love all your tips and tricks. Do you know if any of the You Tubers are reviewing the softbound or 7x9 teacher planners?
I’m loving all of the launch goodies! I’m tutoring 1st and 2nd graders now but I’ve been teaching 29 years as of October 10th, mainly preschool through kindergarten. I’m a hybrid now: I love my pen and paper but sometimes we have to submit grades, assessments, test scores, and observation notes electronically nowadays since we are in a technological era. My coworkers call me “Ms Organizer/Organization” or “Eagle Eye” because nothing really gets past me…. Usually lol! And the kids call me “Teacher Angie”!!! Thank you for the review and I’m so glad you’re still in the education field. ❤❤❤❤
I teach pre-k and I love to use checklist for assessment data. I also use one for tracking what samples for their pre-k assessments have been done. I use student 1, student 2 etc.. I was anticipating this review!! Now back to the video ❤
@ChloetryPlans I'm loving the new changes. I only wish the kid activity book (and all other kid items EC had) would be offered in 8.5 x 11. The spaces are small for kids writing. The highlighters yes. All of the accessories are on my list!! First and only review I need. Thanks!!
I’m not a teacher, but I love this planner and the way it’s laid out….and having the 7 days of the week represented in the weekly pages makes it great for anyone to use. I can see labeling the sides of the daily vertical sections for things like Appointments, Errands, Cleaning, Fitness, Wellness, Bible, Dinner/Meal Plan. I’d hate to stop my current EC LifePlanner halfway through the year though, for the July start date. I prefer Jan-Dec planners since I’m not an educator. I haven’t finished watching yet, but I would LOVE if it was also offered UNDATED! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 you will tell us this is an option before the end of your video. Thank you for your great content and review. 🌻😊
I’m so glad they changed the orientation! I’ve been using an army of stickers to cover up and rewrite dates and subjects 😅 I will probably get the softbound, I tried it this year and I really liked it.
I love this new layout and have wanted it for so long! I already purchased a teacher planner for next year, but I think I'm going to have to buy this one with the vertical layout and repurpose the one I've already bought. 😅
I don’t use the check list pages for grades anymore because like you said that is all online. But I do use it to keep track of forms students turn in (permission slips, etc). I also use them to keep track of if a student has had a “turn” or not. For example, sit in the special chair, do a special job, received a special prize.
Love this review. I am so excited for the EC Teacher Lesson Planner. I will be using the vertical as my personal planner. I always used the 7 x 9 hourly but it became to small for everything I had going on every day. I am not a fan of the daily duo.
As a former teacher, I love these reviews. My planner was always a vertical, but taught up to 8 classes a day. Specialist have different kind of schedules than classroom teachers. I taught the entire school.
I’m not either, but I could see easily repurposing this to work for a high school or college student, or anyone that has a lot of categories of things to keep track of, like different projects or goals that you plan to work on multiple days in the week. The student checklists would make great habit trackers, and the other teacher specific things could also be modified. I really like the new 7 day layout, it makes this much more amenable to non-teachers to use this, and also for teachers who want to use this as their teaching and personal planner combined.

How do you label yours? I put areas for heading like literacy, math, science/STEAM, enrichment time (art, music & movement)

Thank you for the review. I just ordered 5 of your recommendations. I used your link. Thank you again!!
Awesome! Thank you! Hope you enjoy your planner goodies 😊

Thanks for watching! And for letting me know what you use the checklist for. I’m always curious 🧐

I love the idea of using a label maker to personalize the dry/wet erase inserts. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Me, too!!

Yes sooo many areas could be covered in this planner! Undated would be NICE

Yesss do it! lol 😂
I love the changes! I hope they have the record book on coil. Thanks for sharing

The “turn” list makes perfect sense!

I love how much space this planner has. If you have a lot going on, it's great for covering all the areas.
Thanks for watching!
I use both! I keep a paper record book for my personal notes. I teach inclusion, and it helps me to keep a paper plan and record book.
I need that sticker book 📕 📚 !!
Will any of these planners come in the Focused lay out? The no color?
Will this be available in 7 x 9?
Not this year 😬

OMG, I want the kids activity book! And no, I don’t have kids.
You’re not alone. I think I’ll be keeping this one for myself 😂
💜💜
I’m not a teacher.
How do you like the planner/accessories?
