For speed limiter… Turn rocker dial to limiter option. Press memory button and the dash will show you the speed limit of the road you are currently driving on. Press memory again and it will keep you from going above that speed until… A you pause the limiter B you turn off the limiter C you accelerate hard to override the limiter Very easy/handy when you get used to it.
What if you pause the cruise controll at, lets say 100km/h and then later on find yourself at a 40km/h road, wanting to cruise at that speed? If you then unpause it, is it going to accalerate, trying to get up to 100 again? In the middle of the city?😅😆
CORRECT! :D When you want to lock in your new speed level, you need to press one of the buttons at the back of the controller again. So if you decelerate from 100 to e.g. 50 and you want to stay there, press the button at the back.
Thank you! i`d rather not experience that by myself 😂 dosent cruise controll stop and reset the pause button when you hit the brakes? I ordered my automatic 2008 gt yesterday😄
The one I have does not have adaptive cruise control. This is what I found on it. Let me know if it helps. If not, I’ll carry on looking “With adaptive cruise activated, press the Gap button to cycle through the 3 presets Close/Normal/Far these are not adjustable and I normally have mine on the far setting as normal seems a touch too close for a relaxing drive!”
@@kookoo111222 Generally, apart from load space, I find the Citroen C4 III to be far superior to my Peugeot 307SW but it is 14 years younger so that is to be expected. The Adaptive Cruise Control on the Citroen though is frustrating. It does what it is supposed to do but although it reduces speed very well behind other cars, it is very slow to regain speed when traffic speeds up again. It will continue to drop to sometimes 4mph (6.4km/h) below external traffic speed before going back to the set speed. The problem being that you can't switch off the 'Adaptive' function and use a basic control like the Peugeot setup. In my 307SW, I used the CC just like the accelerator pedal by touching the + and - button on the back, as necessary.
Just in time when I got my 308 and searched for a guide. Great! Thanks
Glad you found it helpful! 😃

Thank you for sharing! If you tend to use the delimiter, what situations are you finding it helpful? I have not found use for it yet.
Thanks. Very helpful
Thank you for your feedback! 🙂

I cannot recall if it resets or acts like a pause. You made me curious now! 😄
What about the adaptive part ? How do you set the distance to the car in front

I wish this system was used by Citroen, it's way easier.
Thank you for commenting. And what do you find worse on Citroen?
