What do you think?
I never had gut problems with my bees, bottom box full of brood, I use a microscope to check for nozima. But to be fair I live in southern Missouri where are winters are mild. Fred Dunn got me started on spirulina.
think you are providing a food that does not have it or it would have a dosage counter on how to treat hives for a disease. Reduction graphs are non conclusive besides the environment is different.
We need to keep an open mind and look beyond our eyes.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Humberto
Dara, the man behind Hive Alive, is a good guy in the industry and very passionate about his product, so he should be its a great
product. We met Dara and you at apimonda 2019 in Monteyall and you were both very interested and supportive of what I'm doing in the industry. something I will never forget.
Unfortunately for some small companies, the cost of researching problems and innovating solutions for those problems
and then bringing them to the market can leave some on the brink of bankruptcy. So to then have to get independent peer-reviewed trials carried out is cost prohibitive which in my opinion is counterproductive for everyone in the industry.
I realise there is probably no answer to this it just seems so counterproductive considering how important bees are to life and the economy.
Thank you for the work you do and have done Humberto you bring a lot of value to us with your work on this channel.
I mixed Spiriluna to a sugar syrup and fed it to two of my nuc hives. Will observe and compare them to the hives next to them come spring time. Will report my observations. Thank you Humberto!
H another great rabbit hole that needs to be explored. Thank you.
Yep
I am in Switzerland
With 400 colonies I can try the product on 50 see if there is improvement
Does the research suggest that the seaweed/spirulina is what's controlling the nosema or the thymol in the product?
We can not know that by the way the experiment was designed. Great question.
So interesting, but the endorsement of a specific product midway through came as a surprise and made me wonder about veracity, motivation, etc. There's nothing wrong, in my mind, with being paid to endorse a product but it helps confidence in what you're saying to disclose it up front. If you weren't, that's useful to note too.
Hi there. At the beginning of the video, there is a message stating that it contains paid content. This is required by law and serves important purposes. I want to clarify that I did not endorse the product, as I have never personally used it. Instead, I relied on evidence from scientific literature to create an educational video about the product. As mentioned in the video, further studies are needed to draw definitive conclusions. Thank you for watching.
I have been putting spirulina in my pollen patties for 4 years now.
Whaat is your experience so far?
I use hive alive. I would volunteer but only have 2 hives. They are top bar hives and located in Wisconsin. I use the liquid and in winter I hang the fondant. They don't eat much of the fondant but in there if the need it.
Thanks for sharing.
Very valuable information! Thank you! I know if you are involved with studying the test results, you will be fair and honest . Also I read that adding Hive alive to sugar syrup keeps it from fomenting, another great point that is healthy for the bees.
Thanks. If that is true it proves the claims of antimicrobial activity from the scientific literature.
Does that supplement use mushroom extract
I don' think so.
Boy the timing! I'm doing a mini-trial of 25% spirolina pollen sub right now. Great video, thanks!
Would you try to come back and let us know how it went?
@@TheBaconWizardI just uploaded an update. Keep in mind this is a loose definition of "study," but there is some info on what I'm seeing so far.

Grazie alla prossima volta ciao
I would gladly try it on a sample of hives, I've heard of the product for a while. But your always cautious about using to many man made products.
Does anyone know if the thumbnail artwork was AI generated
Yes it was.
I have an idea for something more superior than this
I am listening...
@@InsideTheHiveTV my buddy is a commercial beekeeper, and he is going to let me try to doctor up any hives that get dysentery in the spring. if it works the way it should possibly team up with a pollen patty company and get it to market, can't really just come out and say what it is though.
