- What is a Kirby's Block Ball? I asked myself as I was commissioned to make this by @NathanielBandy. Come to find it's a really cute, obscure gameboy game that is a marriage between the beloved characters and scenery of the Kirby world and breakout! An obscure game with bangin' music! It's really funny hearing this so much later in time, because when I commissioned this, there wasn't an official remix. Which makes sense because this is a super obscure Game Boy title.
But now, in Kirby's Dream Buffet, the mad lad developers picked THIS SPECIFIC song to remix lol

block ball’s boss theme is one of the best in the series. im so happy they brought it back in dream buffet, shoutouts to that game for remixing relatively obscure kirby songs

Kirby's Block Ball has such an underrated OST! Seriously, the music in this game is awesome and needs to be appreciated more.
Block Ball does not feel like a OST that should go hard but for some reason a lot of the songs did and the boss theme is at the top of that list. This remix does that unecessary hardness justice.

Funnily enough, I learned about this game quite recently thanks to NakaTeleeli's (still ongoing) All the Kirby's series, where he's playing all the kirby games (more or less) in order

Man, remixes like this make it a real shame that due to copyright or whatever reason, they get locked to youtube and nowhere else besides the music archive.

I played it on a browser emulator and ragequit because I couldn't clear the first stage's "Border Score" (The score you need to beat to fully complete a level or stage. You need to beat the border score of the 10 stages this game has to fight King Dedede and get the best ending.)
