Yeah I think only with Genadi he wasn’t technically forced into a hook but he himself made the technical decision to go inside, because of Genadi’s style. But if he wants to go outside I don’t think anyone is capable of force the hook on him. Maybe only Alizhan Muratov or Ivan Matyushenko but with the left arm. Right arm I think that it’s impossibile. I mean, with right arm he cracked Levan wrist, and I don’t think there’s anyone with a stronger wrist than Levan, especially in lighter categories
Dadikyan couldn't force Irakli in a hook their first ready go, which is why he went for the top roll after. If he couldn't hook Irakli, there's no way he's hooking Devon. But in the top roll I don't see Davit beating Devon's hand, and he doesn't have Levan's strength to blast through Devon's arm without hand control. Davit needs a press, preferably off the go, or a smooth transitional press.
@@TheLowHandToproll watch the first ready go in the straps again, he tried to cup his wrist and couldn't, so he fouled and top rolled Irakli in the restart

@@romans7177 devon's hook is a HIGH HOOK which became popular after him, he went toe to toe with genadi in hook in quite a few rounds, he had to develope his own hook because of his height, why do you think his club is called high hookers?
I think this will be closer than people think. Dadikyan will come in big, strong and juiced up. He is a power-athlete with very strong hits. If devon's defense isn't on point, he could get flash pinned. Dadikyan will 100% have a press ready to go.
devon never grabs low. He always grabs high and deep, striving for both. Most of the time he gets both. It may look like he is grabbing low when the match starts, because he drops down, not completely holding his riser, as against georgi, but he started high and deep.
Yeah he’s not technically lowering his grip, but most precisely he’s raising his thumb high. And his leverage and technical abilities allow him to take away everything from the opponent in the setup. Very dangerous
I definitely believe that the masses are greatly underestimating Davit at the 105kg class, I think that Devon might be too weak and skinny compared to Davit at this weight, But hey, I tend to believe my lying eyes.
At 105kg it can be a war. If it was 115kg he would stonewall dadikyan. Devon even stop kurdecha at 116kg recent. And kurdecha is way stronger then dadikyan. But 105kg is a risk for devon.

Is David's hook better than prudnik? Devon was toe to toe with prudnik's hook when he just recovered from an injury
devons hook is less of a muscalar hook and more of a skelatal hook where he locks his arm in in an armbreak position where side pressure doesnt work.
