Great to see a video on a Vvti-1jz S3, so rare so cool . I've just gotten mine back on the road after being parked up for five years, lots of maintenance to do still.
Wow man nice! keen for more videos! Also have a factory manual in the restoration process 😂 I also have a GFB to install, wondering what the chances of you being able to make another mount for some cash? 🙏 Great video anyway!
Awesome man! Unfortunately those cad files were lost with an old laptop :( but honestly even after printing them it took a LOT of cutting and stuffing around to make it fit and work properly.
Random search for a soarer throws this up. I love how you ditched the pathetic cup holder. Very neat install of the boost controller. Do you still have the cad file? My soarer never came with a cup holder I’d love to add some sort of boost controller in there now after seeing that!
Hey cheers mate :) yeah unfortuantely my old computer crashed and i lost the files for the boost controler :( it didnt' fit great straight from the printer, it needed a lot of work to make it fit properly, but yeah i'm pretty stoked with how it turned out! :)
Same here :D searched for Soarer and stayed here and subscribed. Have the exact same one but auto, HKS intake TEIN coilovers and some Enkei RPF1 replicas in 19 inch. Love it so much.
@@matthesg87 oh awesome mate! They are great cars, mine is definitely my forever car :) it's tough filming in my little garage instead of my dad's workshop but I'll try to document the Resto and work the best I can :) it's already up on stands and in pieces! Haha
Very cool car. I'm subscribed because racecar, but I used to be really into street cars like this. Now that I have a racecar I've almost completely lost interest in owning a street car... if I had a nostalgic or heirloom car like that might be different.
Cheers mate :) yeah unfortunately until we are allowed out again the racecar isn't going anywhere :( at least i can work on this one at home, and when ti's finished i can actually drive it to work from time to time and have some fun, but yeah, man i miss my race car...
I don't blame yah. Sorry you guys are locked down. It's unfortunate. BTW if you're interested I just posted recap videos of my cars first two race finishes. They can't hold a candle to your video/editing skills but it's grassroots racing just like the nugget project! Way to be crafty keeping the content coming until you reunite with the nugget!
@@Maxdamilli0n Hell yeah man, car looks great! any plans for futher development or just seat time? The soarer should be fun, doing some mods and fabrication that i've wanted to do to a car for a while now :)
@@TheNuggetProject the soarer is awesome. Over here we get the Lexus SC with a 2jz and 1uz, but no turbos. They're also not very common, and 99% automatics. We are going to race again in October. For now it's mostly fixing things with the car. Power steering failed on the first lap of the weekend, starter failed after the second pit stop of the weekend. Discovered cracks in the cams around the dowel pins. Upgraded cams and new starter, PS pump, higher front spring rates and maybe some brake work. The car was great last race and I think if we can run a cleaner race we'll see some success. With any luck I'll get it on video and make another recap to keep everyone posted.
This will be a fun watch!
Hopefully!
Thanks for the video man. Please do more about the Soarer.
Cheers mate, I've got a video half filmed just trying to finish up the new intercooler and turbo setup now :)
@@TheNuggetProject Will be waiting. Thanks bro.

oh nice! it will be all worth it once you're back out on the road in it :)
I like the Winton sticker. I might need to get a few myself.
Yeah for sure mate :) I make them for every Aussie track
Have always loved this Soarer. The GT needs a play date.... Also needs a service. ha!
Yeah for sure! after she's back together and when we're allowed out again we'll go for a spin in the hills :)
Yay 1JZ
More videos
Working on it mate, lacking a bit of time, I've got a new turbo coming in a few weeks :)

The Soarers long enough to be considered a chicken tender.
Yup it's stupid long, barely fits in car spots but the long wheel base bakes it super stable :)
