@@TheNuggetProject yea 100%! One of them is a stock 88 supercharged model and the other is an 87 with a twincharged GZE in it. Can't wait to get back into both of them. Looking forward to your next video!
I'm getting some Honda vibes from your posts lately! Potentially turning your supercharger light into a VTEC yo light? Awesome work so far man. Loving it.
Love it! I am converting my AW11 SC auto and when I finished the pedal box and master with a manual version it was an amazing feeling to see it complete - one of those mile stones. I laughed out loud watching as you show how easy it is with the dash removed because it is not with a dash. Where did you get the SC manual dash from as I would like one for my build? Keep it up, the videos are great.
@@AlexYeomans oh absolutely mate I've been under more dashboards than I'd like to count so I'm doing EVERYTHING now while it has no interior and windscreen :) I actually got the sc manual dash from a wrecker when I bought my bonnet and deck lid, it was in the shelf, I paid $25 for it! Next step is to pull it apart and change the odometer to match the original km on the chassis :)
I’m loving the build sofar bro wish i could follow you along with my own aw11 i have but Ive decided to try get it legal first sadly I’ve failed my warrant of fitness (im in New Zealand btw) on the shocks and shock top mounts witch is the onlything i dont have the spare parts for anything else you name I probably have it. Keep up the sick build
@@bradwhitaker4659 I appreciate that mate :) have you got Facey? Shoot me a message on the nuggey project Facebook page, there are a couple of parts that you may be able to help me with, thanks legend :)
Things are really getting going now that you're over the mountain of rust repair, can't wait till you can arrange a donor car - hopefully it's not too far away! Awesome build, definitely one I'll be following right through to the end.
@@mysticgreg thankyou legend! I've had a good couple of weeks of selling parts so the bank balance is getting closer to a donar car! Then things really kick into gear :D
I won’t give you a hard time about not just reshaping the automatic brake pedal for the manual instead of doing all that work attaching a new plate. lol I’m not sure if you did it with the nugget, but I removed my rubber pads and replaced it with non-skid sticky back tape like they use for boat decks. I think it works better when your feet might be wet.
@@mikeconnelly7032 the auto pad isn't tall enough :) and also with the pedal bent to be in the right position the pad is crooked so even if I cut it down the top and bottom face would be crooked, so much better to cut it back and weld a proper shape pad on it :) Yeah I don't mind grip tape pedals for race cars but not for road cars, I use the side of my shoe a lot for blipping the throttle and tapping the brake, I'd wreck all my shoes haha, rubber pads work just fine :)
Hey mate, absolutely loving your work so far. I've got 2 AW11 projects atm. You have inspired me to get them under way again soon.
@@seaneyton6033 cheers legend! That's awesome let's bring as many of these things back to life as possible :)
