Do you transfer your Citadel paints to drop bottles?

Long ago I bought almost a full set which somebody had already transferred into droppers. Then I would transfer any new ones I bought - but now I don't have many I sold most of the normal base/layer paints. I kept the washes/shades so they are still in droppers but contrast and drybrush paints are in their normal tubs - and I use other brands of paint these days anyway, so not many Citadel pots now :)

When I apply my washes, it tends to stain on the flat surfaces no matter how hard I try to brush it into the recesses. I end up having to go back over the model with my base coats. Is that normal?

It can be yeah it depends on dilution - you could try adding more water but ultimately there will be some pigment in the liquid on any surface so it’ll filter in some way - feel free to jump onto the discord and share pics and I can help analyse if you like :)
