I live 1 mile behind my local race track on a gravel road. I took mine down the dirt road and got on just a little of asphalt, got back to the shop, parked it. About 15 minutes later 2 Sherriff trucks drove by in a hurry. Lol I had my LM backed in, with the shop door still open but they never turned into my drive. 🤣 I'm out in the country, shouldn't have to be worried but I guess I was wrong.
@@MattS-ru1ys 💯 true,I try to be respectful to my neighbors but you'll always have that one that will never be happy, and like I tell him I work 65 hours a week running heavy equipment racing is my one and only stress release and if all my friends stop by on race day and we sit around joking and working on the car he can either move or get over it
Wouldn't say city people. There is Karen's and whatever the male version is, in the city and country. Just people who are unhappy and want to control people.
FYI all you have to do with the rivet gun is push the rivet in with the gun and push the button once, once’s your here the click it’s done, none of this up and down double button stuff like Jessie is doing, also once you have done your rivet don’t pull out the rivet end from the front of the gun it will damage the gun over time, the black end of the rivet gun will store the rivet ends that will need to be empty every so often
Anyway guys, on to better things. Good lucky this weekend, Joseph was against one of the best last weekend and proved he could keep up. All three of ya are awesome racers.
Great seeing you guys are putting out more videos since you have plenty of content this week. 10-15 minute videos, more often, like this week, will help with your ad revenue. Good job.....Like the driver interviews and pit interactions at the track, the garage environment has been really solid for a good while now!......Loved seeing Tennison trying to video with Jonathan's instructions! Really good! T is right on the edge of learning how to video. Bit more practice and he will have it. More please....Also liked his hitting the plastic nose, trying to make it fit like JJ does.....He must be having a blast!......Also forgot to mention that Jonathan's "prompts" for Tennison in "Aero" video were really good!! T said some great stuff!!....Just heard JJ got a fifth on Friday!.....Excellent! JJ being consistently in the top three or top five is far more important than a solo win.....Good job and good luck this Sat night!
if you take the fill tube that comes with the def fluid container ( for Diesel truck ) it will go right on the oil container and make it easy to fill the trany...your nugget for today....and now I always put my atv gasket maker in the frig...
Favorite Scene - Tennison helping his uncle JJ put on the "push push". T must be lovin' it! Best Line - "Need a rivet! Need a gun! How 'bout a drill?"....Tennison LOL
We built a Broward County late model, I took it to the streets in Pompano Beach FL. It had lights, all the badging etc too. Yeah, cops showed up to the shop before I got back. We had a laugh !!! Buwhahahaha
You guys have the droop rule? To go to stiff on your right rear on your supports, if he has to go run the wall then he might need some flex in body panels and spoilers..... we love the wall and our right rear is pretty worn out by the end if the night.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I was Tenison's age I used to hold a flashlight for my grandfather driver while sitting on a milk crate, when made a run up the road and back and we passed a state trooper and we headed home and did the same as you we put it on jack stands and when the cop showed up my grandfather was setting the timing. The cop had a coffee stain on his shirt from us going by. When he saw what we were doing and saw me on the passenger side leaned into the driver and said if I see this thing going down the road again boy you will be in some serious trouble. lol And here you are with 3 cars and two with 10s on them. lol
Hope you get hooked up at Talladega as good as last race. Keep after it, those good breaks will be coming! Good luck for a good, fun, and safe race. Wish it was on pay per view but haven't found it? Go Hunt The Front!!!
Don't worry about making the right front corner look good, just make it strong. There is a certain use for it when someone is holding you up from getting under them. Use it !
At the Talledega race, (yes I know the car broke) the track really rubbered in black. Anticipating that this might happen, how about running tires with less grooves (possibly at the expense of some track position early in the race) to have better traction than the rest of the field later in the race? I don't know myself...I am just asking.
Dont worry about the police boys i run a 1965 drag car here in Minnesota my neighbor called them on me every time i loaded my car for a couple years there might have been a small test hit each time any way they showed up as i was tying it down in the trailer the one officer went to the track with me one day and they never showed up again great video guys thanks have a great race be safe.
How does everybody in the comment section get this is click bait? If you wanna be technical the cops did show up just didn’t stop and say nothing. Great work hunt the front!! Keep up the good work and go catch that win tomorrow!! Good luck, have fun, drive a safe race, and stay safe on the way there!!
Thankfully our road is back woods and we can test run and no sherriffs or anything comes back out unless called. We drove the 1 compact for a test drive a good couple of miles before we stripped the car
November 12-14 American Crate all star series at Volunteer Speedway (aka Bulls Gap). Two $5,000 to win preliminary races on Friday, And $15,000 to win on Saturday. Thursday is Practice for late models and media day. I know it would be a long drive for you guys, but me and your other fans in this area would love to see you up here on the high banks of Bulls Gap.
Come back to Senoia October 22-24 for the 5th annual Showdown at Senoia. 10,000 to win and judging by your last run here I’d say you have a pretty good shot!
I hung my first body including the deck with a hand operated pop rivet gun. Wasn't really a gun. Pliers type. Also found that my neighbors had no sense of humor when test driving a dirt car on the public street
Had cops show up after running a 410 sprint car around the the neighborhood.. trick !!!! Get those mufflers that bolt on with a hose clamp for working around the house ...
The question I have is why don’t you get rid of that angle iron and make something more aerodynamic for a hold down it’s blocking a good part of the carb
Been there before- except we used to push off a sprint car down the street. The police would show up and say we got complaints that someone was driving a dune buggy down the street- and then ask "is that (pointing at the sprint car and knowing better) a dune buggy?" No sir officer- it's not. "Ok then, have a safe day and be safe!!!"
Do like that JONES RACING PRODUCTS shirt Jonathan, it kinda stands out! Sorta like that VONBOHN PRODUCTS on EBAY sponsor graphic on the sides of the cars (looks good!). Not much work on getting it ready -- just "time" for little things; still just as important! That #10 car was #1 last wkend --- it was the car to beat! Cold? Our coldest temp here at Stanley 4W in NE Iowa was -36.4F. It was 27F this morning, first frost and possibly a freeze!
