Full moon fishing at Budleigh

OK so I'm not that good at fishing however I am always keen to learn and at Budleigh Beach, I met Driss a member of the Exmouth Sea Angling Association who said he was targetting Ray that night, He gave me some really good advice on where and how to start and not much later he was able to land one over 10lbs. I caught some pouting and somehow managed to hook up a very large corkscrew well that looked like it was some kind of stay that had come away from the sand.
All fun that night with people enjoying small fires by the light of a full moon.

Well done for finding a quiet night in amongst the relentless stormy weather we seem to have. Moonlit nights like that are great for the soul. A year or 2 ago I saw someone pull in a 10lb ray at Seaton. I was tangled in seaweed so missed that one! Best wishes Kevin

Managed to get a couple of quiet nights at Budleigh Kevin it was so nice the other night I didn't leave until 2.30 so many shooting stars but only one dogfish that night. Good info about Seaton I may try there again hopefully when the seaweed isn't around. Take care, Mark.
