I just stumbled upon this video and your video on popular sunscreen reviews. I appreciate your research and you’ve brought up some great points. However Suncat DE is in an encapsulated form so these “harmful” filters are actually sitting on your skin in a thicker form than it’s original, hence not seeping into your skin. I’m guessing that’s why it was trademarked and created in the first place. Also I think you should mention that there hasn’t been human tested scientific research on how bad these filters really are for our bodies. I have read many research papers as well and unless you are ethically against the environmental damage these chemical filters can cause, then I would suggest to continue using these sunscreens. And with that point, I would also like to point out that these filters have only been done on RATS, which is what we should really be ethically against. Use humans to test it out before coming to conclusion like this, jeez scientists. At the end of the day, it’s about how your skin reacts to it and your AFFORDABILITY range as well. For example, the BOJ sunscreen is amazing with its new age filters but for a product that you need to use everyday- it’s not the most budget friendly for everyone. I love that you’re de-influencing and providing information that most influencers do not do. But I believe in to each their own so just be informed and buy according to your convenience.
Hey, doesn't it have oxybenzone in the form of SUNCAT DE along with other filters under the same umbrella? I did some research on SUNCAT and found that ingredients in SUNCAT DE is in an encapsulated form and therefore doesn't get absorbed into the skin and therefore quite safe. Do add any pieces of information that you guys know about this topic. ❤

I don't know about the rest of the products, cause I haven't personally used them, but I did use the aqualogica glow vit c serum. Everyone, even my fav beauty youtubers said it doesn't have any visible glitter, but actually it does have a lot of glitter. I think it would be a good product for a dewy makeup base, but as a skincare product, it looked like a glitter bomb exploded on my face! Maybe I would repurchase it as a makeup base, but never again as a skincare product, and I'd never recommend it as a good skincare product too.
I have used all four variants from aqualogica, none has any glitter. Faced no issue with any of those. Not just me, my mother and brother also use them. Everyone in my family has different skin types and concerns, so it works across different skin types. We have literally finished around 15+ bottles, been using aqualogica ones since they launched just the yellow and green ones.

Keep on giving honest reviews like this. All the influencers are promoting these brands but you are the one who is speaking her heart out. Thank you 😊 💓
The problem is that these companies are adding unnecessary active ingredients. But still using the old generation filters that is because those are cheap.. they are marketing it with the names of actives.. we don't need niacinamide Vit c hylauronic acid.. or peptides or ceramides.. we just need a good, safe and effective filter in our sunscreen.. cut the actives from the formula and add good filters.. that will balance the cost too.. and make the formulation good. That's it (I know vit c and niacinamide are good antioxidants.. but still not very necessary ingredient in a sunscreen)
Cant thank you enough for doing this, we need real stuff, that's why I choose expensive korean and international brands, at least they took your hard earned money but they also give our skin what its actually need. Unlike indian gimmicky marketing.
My only concerns with the sunscreen is that it irritated my skincare sooo much redness, itchy skin which eventually went away after 3 washes and 2 3 hours..... What sunscreen should I use
Hey! I have normal to combination skin type I have tried using few sunscreens in the market it doesn’t seem to work for me so i tried investing in drug store sunscreens but the thing is they cost you anywhere from 550-750 and even more. If you are willing to spend such amount you can try buying drugstore sunscreens according to your skin type.
Aqualogice red sunscreen is so good i have been using it frim last 4 months . It removed my tan and sun spots. The aqualogica coconut moisturizer is the best one that you can find in the market today.. the products are manufactured under the guidance of cosmetologists.. so u kindly keep your advices to yourself and stop making people confused about a thing.
Thank god I got saved. I was about to order the pink aqualogica sunscreen. My first choice was concious chemist one but the aqualogica hype was a bit too much to sway me there.
Imo the best sunscreens are :- Bioderma max Aquafluide Isntree airy sunstick Thank you farmer sunstick Clarins paris uv plus spf 50 Cosrx aloe soothing sunscreen Pilgrim serum sunscreen
you're right, i have been using this hyped vitamin c moisturizer and niacinamide night gel and their sunscreen too also their new launch lip balm but all these products didn't helped me in long run, i still get active acne and white heads.
Who said that we don't want glitters in our skincare routine? millions of people use it,the only trouble they are gonna get you in is when you would have trouble getting rid of the glitters. Plus the dew drops AREN'T skincare products, they have a soul purpose of providing a dewy and pretty finish to the skin post or pre makeup! You lost me at the dew drops one completely. Also, oxybenzone has not been proven harmful by any more than a handful researches, the only harm it's proven to do is to the oceans. It's funny how one person can come on the internet and say that a particular thing is harmful and the rest just follow it even after using it for decades. Exempli gratia, parabens, They are NOT bad for your skin! Hardly any articles prove it! But the absence of them would surely reduce the shelf life of your products to a great extent.

After your video, i checked all three and found suncat de as the second ingredient which is a combination of oxybenzone and few other chemicals. Ayuga showcases to be a herbal brand but is child to same mother. I love these sunscreens, all of them….it will be a hard decision to shun them and find alternatives. I had stocked them during sale but health comes first. Thanks for making this video.
Great point.. Want to add Mamaearth too to the brands under Honsaa!

Thanking you a lot for this well researched videos. Unlike other youtubers you are not uploading too many videos with different products and not confusing us. This makes you stand out from other influencers. Never lose those ethics. Xoxo ❤
So true..
This video is far from well researched if she's making the use of oxybenzone the main issue with their sunscreens
@@wion.80 I'm not following her recommendations any more. I bought Dr Sheth haldi and moisturiser as per recommendation and it came out to be the worst moisturiser I have ever used. Instead of moisturising it takes away all the moisture and water from the skin and gave a tightening effect. Even aloe Vera gel doesn't give such a tightening effect.
@@wion.80 I'd argue that encapsulation prevents from ingredients penetrating the skin, but you're right. It has been long proven that amount oxybenzone in sunscreens are safe to use and Suncat DE is a combination that ensures it's safe to use. Only problems it can potentially have is with irritating sensitive skin or yet to be well researched side effects on pregnant and lactating women.
Dot & Key’s recent new launch looks promising, they have launch 4 new serums with 2 active ingredients in them & 2 new moisturisers, lip balm with spf do check them out. I also didn’t like thier products at first but these launches cought my eyes

Aqualogica watermelon sunscreen is easily the best sunscreen .It feels so much easy on the skin and gives that healthy and polish glow, maybe due to added niacinamide. I haven't tried the other 2 varient . And somehow it is cheap too

Honestly everyone's skin is different we easily categorize our skin as oily n dry but tbh it's much more than just being oily n dry I like aqualogica they suited my skin so well so guys I feel that it depends on how well u understand ur skin n then reading the contents of the products n using them well!!

I hope you know this is the exact reason why your subscribers are loyal to you and that's your honesty. Please even if u become big please don't promote these brands even if they pay u a bomb just like other big youtubers do. I have unsubscribed so many of them cos they lie for money. Everywhere I could see aqualogica and was actually wondering if it's effective n here's the true picture. It's okay to use same old products if they work for your skin. Audience are so used to seeing new products everyday from youtubers that now they expect the same from all. But you do you girl. Infact when u r consistent with products we believe u more. TH-camrs were madly raving about dermavive n neutriderm n now I don't see any of them using it cos obviously it was a paid gig. N it's sad audiences follow such youtubers blindly without understanding the ingredients. M glad I've stuck to your channel and understand skin ingredients which is extremely important. Keep it up girl👍🏻💯
Thnx for this comment... this comment section needs it

I have used almost 6-8 bottles, yellow one. And I think it's amazing
That's it
(I know vit c and niacinamide are good antioxidants.. but still not very necessary ingredient in a sunscreen)
Can you list any good sunscreen?
Sorry but Neutrogena bright boost range which you showed as moisturizer is not a moisturizer but a bha exfoliating cream

Hey! I have normal to combination skin type I have tried using few sunscreens in the market it doesn’t seem to work for me so i tried investing in drug store sunscreens but the thing is they cost you anywhere from 550-750 and even more.
