@@sniperphoenix4040 nah, moustache is sunnah. It's just not meant to go over the lips (meaning of trimming) or the beard is supposed to longer than the tash (the other interpretation of the hadith). There are some who shave it because of Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah ta'ala be pleased with him) shaving it.
Imam Malik (may Allah ta'ala be pleased with him) had a tash and he used Umar ibn alkahttab (may Allah ta'ala be pleased with him) twirling his tash as a daleel. You can't twirl something which is small.

Classical Quranic Arabic or modern Arabic?

Do we have something like an accent in speaking a standard Arabic? When I listen to someone saying with enough fluency, I can't tell if the speaker is a native speaker or not. Do the Arabic-native speakers usually identify an accent in someone when speaking the standard Arabic?

Yes I’ve always wondered about that. I mean like a Chinese or Russian person speaking English as a second language has a certain sound to it? With the Quranic Arabic we put so much importance on the tajweed That I wonder if they can tell the difference.

What type of Arabic would we be learning in this Arabic? Is it classical, MSA, dialect? Would it be the same Arabic spoken by the scholar that you showed when you tested Muzammil?

Which lectures do you recommend for listening comprehension?
Hoping for something moderate speed and clear speech for intermediate level. Perhaps something with translation at end to review comprehension.

"Scholarly subtitles" is good and personally i learned English comprehension well via subtitles so not only will you hear the arabic but comprehension what is being said. Just repeat the videos you already watched and then listen to them without a subtitle.
Also, try this podcast: "Trying to speak arabic- podcast"
This channel teaches bayna yadayk, currently in book 3: "اللسان Al-Lisan"
This is another egyptian brother that also teaches bayna yadayk, but he has thousands of "most common phrases" in arabic so check it out: "Learn Arabic language" .
Here is a book from a Turkish brother that has the most common arabic phrases for conversations: التعابير الشائعة في المحادثة العربية
Unfortunately it is not in english, but once your vocabulary in arabic becomes good, you can understand and translate in necessary.
