Let’s be honest this dude has been through a-lot during the past few years. His son died, his wife been cheating and one of his closet friends didn’t give him the credit he felt he deserved in the documentary. This man is going through a full breakdown.
He basically admitted in the docu that without Pippen, there wouldn't be the MJ we know today and without him, he probably won't win a championship (or 6). That was how he introduced Scottie in the docu. Idk. Sounds like giving credit to me.
@@gabrielw7773 This dismissive mentality is why so many men are killing themselves. There's no 'be a man' when it comes to mental health, you shouldn't suppress how you feel.
It's such a shame that the Last Dance caused the complete breakdown of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen's relationship, which is now beyond repair. But Jordan and Pippen are arguably the best duo in NBA history.

Jordan emphatically always chose Scottie! He never put him down publicly, he never has. There's footage. The last dance showed Scottie in a good light as far as Jordan had respect for him and the team. The rest of this conversation is white noise. Scottie's wife is got him screwed up. He's embarrassed is all. It actually started with the Future shit.
okay I have to clarify some things in this vids beginning.... yes he's made those statements but if you go back much further to the late 2000's going into the 2010's Scottie has always made remarks in favor of James over Jordan... in fact most memorably remark he made was back around 2011, the time james was about to face the mavs in the finals he said Lebron was the better player.... so really this guy has been flip flopping all around for the last 15 yrs on the subject...
@@karlo9572 no it WASN'T.. Pippin never liked Jeff like that and you could see the signs by some of the slick sht he was saying back in the day but that would mean you'd have to be paying attention and you clearly weren't
Scottie's perpetually bitter, but I do get the whole lowball contract situation. When you're the 6th highest paid player despite being the 2nd best player on your team, you'd be resentful too.
The thing is, damn near everyone around Pippen told him signing that deal was a bad idea, including Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf. No one put a gun to his head and made him sign on the dotted line.
@@kaminsod4077 Not to mention that Pippen made more money over the course of his career (in salary) than Jordan! I'm glad that they didn't gloss over the part where Kukoc took the last shot. It was the absolute right call by Phil Jackson. Pippen's ALWAYS been a total loser of a shooter in the 3rd and 4th quarters of key playoff games; never mind the last shot of the game. Pippen was dangling the '97-'98 season (so was Phil Jackson in his own way), and they both made it clear that they weren't coming back. It's hard to feel sorry for Pippen (IMO), when he was gifted that '98 ring frankly. In the documentary, I wish Jordan called them a bunch of losers (both Jerry's, Phil Jackson and Pippen altogether), for blowing it up and not defending their title.
@@emmapeel38 well Jerry was cheap. He's basically destroyed the Bulls and White Sox with his cheapness. Scottie needed to hire a better agent who got him national commercials and shoe deals. Luckily Scottie got his bag with the Blazers.
Obviously Scottie isn't the smartest guy when it comes to finances, he had the chance to sign a shorter deal though and was warned. It is a gamble though obviously, Scottie could have had a horrible injury that ended his career and then would have been wishing he signed a long term deal. But obviously since he had a healthy career he made the wrong choice
The bulls actually told scottie Pippen don’t sign the contract because they won’t renegotiate But because Scottie Pippen grew up struggling and had to raise his brothers and sisters and parents who are handicap … He took the guaranteed money because he didn’t want to risk getting injured and not be able to provide
It's a double-edged sword signing a long-term contract like Scottie did. He was warned by many people (Jordan included) not to sign because he could do better. On the same token, he needed financial stability that could only be found in signing that contract. However, he could've negotiated a better contract in a year or so, so it turns out, but his family needs were pressing and he couldn't risk not having the money due to injury, so the story goes. It's hard when you have to make such decisions all the time but its part of life. It is what it is.
One of the two greatest duos in NBA history , can’t believe they went from being friends and just being totally insane But Scottie Pippen ever since the Last Dance Documentary just hasn’t been the same

Here are my thoughts. I guess Scottie might have a right to be upset about the way he was portrayed in "The last dance". But let's analyze the facts. The quiting on his teammates in Eastern Conference Semifinals happened for real, didn't it? And he kinda regretted it after a while and I think apologized for it. Then why when he was asked about that incident he double downed on it and said that he would do it again? Secondly, the fact that he quitted on his team when he delayed his back surgery until the start of the following season instead of undergoing it in the off-season. Was MJ wrong for calling this decision by Pippen selfish? In my view he wasn't, because if Scottie was all about the team he could have make this surgery before the season started. Thirdly, he complains about being underpaid. Yes, he was underpaid, but he was told by EVERYONE before signing that contract not to sign it because it was a BAD CONTRACT. Even the team's owner told him so. Nevertheless he signed it. MJ himself was pushing for raising Scottie's salary, he wanted him to have his own signature shoe. And after all that he has a nerve to say that Jordan was treating his teammates, and him especially badly? Whenever Michael is asked about his championships he says that without Scottie he wouldn't have these rings, you say Michael - you have to say Pippen! Oh, and btw, if you compare Jordan's part in The Bulls success to Pippen's, you probably would say that Michael gives him too much credit. When Jordan is asked what would be his all-time starting five, the first man he picks is ALWAYS Scottie, even though no way Pippen was ever considered to be the best SF ever. So to claim that he felt disrespected, especially by Michael, contradicts the facts. Fourth point. He said that Jordan got/earned 10 mln $ for The last dance while neither him nor anyone of his teammates was given a dime. I would say that's either it's a lie or he's a dumb. How could he or anyone at all agree to take part in producing this documentary without signing a contract which should specify on what terms they work? If they had this contract according to which he should have gain whatever money then it means that he's lying about not being paid. If there is no such contract then he's dumb for not having one. With all his recent actions and sayings he shows himself in a very bad light. And, please could anyone tell me why doesn't he want to be held accountable for his actions?
EXACTLY. Ppl love to criticize Shaq for getting injured on “company time and healing on company time” in fall of 2002 but NEVER talk about Scottie Pippen pulling the same bs 5 years before during the Bulls last title season.
The last dance was made to show the bulls but primarily MJ. If pippen thought it should not, he is mistaken big time. I would not have watched the documentary if it had focused on him or anyone elde
Pippen is a sore loser. He thinks he is better than Jordan and that the whole thing should have centred around him. That just shows pure envy and jealousy. Screw Pippen - he didnt raise basketball to what it is today - MJ did.

I tell people all the time, Pip always hated Michael. In 95, I told people this exact same thing. Pip couldn't stand Michael, but he knew where his biscuit was buttered. Go back and check the 95 ECF game one, and you'll see Scotty in the front row being interviewed about being there to support Horace Grant even if some of his other bulls teammates didn't agree (obviously Michael). Pippen never worked out with the breakfast club (Harper MJ and Randy Brown), he had no problem holding out in 97, and requested various trades. MJ and Pippen were never friends, but they knew each other needed the other to win. And after 96, it was obvious they had the best basketball chemistry.
@jlobiafra Pip has always been volatile, we just excused it cause they won a lot. Remember the chair he threw on to the court against San Antonio in 94-95. The Kucok tantrum, the back and forth with Krause in the media. Pippen has always displayed belligerent tendencies. But he knew he wasn't trying to go at it while Michael was at full force. He went through more crap before the last dance. His dad's situation, crappy contracts, injuries. His current situation isn't the reasoning as to why he now hates Michael. He's been hated him, it was just in the DL
What's wrong with Pippen going to a game he wasn't even playing in? I don't see why Jordan or anyone would be butt hurt about him going to a game as a spectator. He had a ticket like everyone else. He's free in America to do that. I don't see why that was an issue? Except for MJ takes everything personal... "OH you wanna support the team that beat us in the playoffs, ok fine. I take offense to that. That's all I needed. Now it's personal Scottie. I will see to it that my 8 year old son will be with your wife one day!"
THIS! He wanted the long-term security for himself, which he got. He got paid what he was entitled to under contract. He has no business being upset/ resentful against anybody but himself. A few years back (more like a decade ago now!) Steph Curry signed a reasonably small deal because of the injuries early in his career, and then his game took off -> the dubs got so much money to spend on other players, eventually including KD, thereby enabling them to build the dynasty. Can you imagine Steph going back and being resentful for not signing to a bigger contract that year?
@@Aurorawindu And in fact, every player was the same, Magic was underpaid when he was winning championships and fmvp for the Lakers, Jordan was underpaid when he was 3peating with the Bulls, a lot of guys were under paid and just played out their contract. All of them did not complain like Pippen did, because they have the talent to make more money off the court with what they have. Pippen on the other hand, was not very smart with his money, and he keep blaming other people for his own lack of talent.

It makes me sick that Scottie and Michael are no longer friends and it's all because of The Last Dance. Sadly, I blame MJ for allowing Pippen to be portrayed so poorly. Scottie did not sit out beginning the 98 season looking for a new contract, He opted to have surgery and rehab during the season because he felt disrespected by the organization. Immediately after the Bulls won the 97 Championship, while Pippen played on that bad foot, the Bulls tried to trade him.

There's several things Going on here between Pippen and Jordan . Scottie is right . Jordan is overrated . Jordan led 3 of the worst Playoff Teams ever . He was 1 - 9 from 1985 - 1987 . I mean when was the last time a 30 - 52 Team made the Playoffs ? The 1986 Jordan Bulls . He was Swept Twice By Larry Bird and Bounced like a Beach Ball from the Playoffs in all 3 of those Seasons . Scottie is Right . GOAT James is a Better All Around NBA Player and Team Manager / Developer than Jordan was . Pippen came along in 1988 and Basically Covered the Best Players in the NBA from 1988 - 1998 . But Jordan gets all of the Credit for the Bulls Defense getting picked on All Defensive Teams . Jordan at Best was covering the Second or Third options from 1988 - 1998 . You won't find JORDAN Covering Magic Drexler Barkley Kemp or Malone in all of those 90s Finals . Jordan was a pathetic 193 - 187 without Pippen All-Time . So Pippen has reason to question Jordan's Greatness . Pippen was pissed that he didn't get a chance to take a Game Winning Shot to win a Playoff Game in 1994 like Jordan got to in the Past . Pippen was pissed about that Jordan Docu Series Making Jordan look like he Carried the Bulls alone in the 90s . Pippen Rodman and Phil Jackson were the primary Leaders on that Bulls Team in the 90s . Pippen has been pissed that Jordan's Son is in a Relationship with Scottie's Ex Wife , Larsa Pippen .
To be fair, the Last Dance dedicated a whole episode to Steve Kerr "important role", but they didnt give Horace Grant the flowers he deserves, and also MJ and PJ mocked Pippen the entire time. I don't think Pippen was selfish, he just wanted his money, he proved his value already as a NBA star.
I think you have to watch it again in no way they mocked Pippen. The only negative part about Pippen was the truth about the incident he didn't want to enter the game. The fact that they asked Pippen and he said he would do it again is on himself.
Pippen wasnt good until 1991. Pippen had a money dispute before thar. The 1998 version of Pippen was sub-AllStar level yet he already wanted pay greater than most All Stars. Pippen couldn't even score 8 points in a Game 6 against Utah Jazz. Today, players in Pippen's position get mocked for demanding money. And many of today's players are better than Pippen and face that mockery
Pippen was All-Star level 1992-1997. In 1998 he was absolutely mediocre. Are you guys actually watching the games? Pippen's "prime" was quite brief. He has more mediocre seasons than good ones. In NBA playoffs, if Pippen gives you 19 points, its at 39% shooting. Pippen got more pay than mostvplayers objectively better than him
Scottie signed a contract, who many, including the owner, suggested he dont sign, then tried to act out because he realized HE signed a bad contract. What does that tell you about him? He weak. And because he weak, he was never an alpha, and hence why he hated being in Michaels shadow.

@theaveragepinoydad4102Horace Grant averages 11 points a game. Thats why he is forgotten. Horace Grant's 11 points a game was enough to make him Jordan's 2nd best high scoring teammate, other than Pippen's 15 points. Is it surprising that fans dont care about them? Ben Simmons gets ridiculed if he can only average 18 in major games. Steve Kerr is a great 3 point shooter. But Steve Kerr averages 6 points a game. Thats a big gap from Jordan averaging 32.
Jordan is good enough to be loved for individual performance. With or without a championship. Jordan's teammates perform subpar. Except Pippen whose performance is mediocre, but he is not as good as Ben Simmons or Austin Reaves

Jordan was called the GOAT before he stepped foot in the NBA. Jordan was being called the best player in the league by his peers in 86-87. Jordan was MVP, DPOY, scoring and steals Champ while Pippen and Grant were bench players. Jordan as the only All-Star caliber player led the underdog Bulls to the 89-ECF, and took the Champs to six games. C.Hodges was the Bulls 2nd leading scorer in that series. Half of the teams in the league getting 6 or more rings with Jordan.

Between MJ not giving Scottie his due in the Last Dance doc, Scottie's son passing away and MJ's son dating Scottie's ex wife, the past 3 years have been rough on him.
MJ not giving him his due? Did anybody actually watch the damn documentary? ACTUAL QUOTE, PLEASE READ SLOWLY: "I didn't win without Scottie Pippen, and that's why I consider him my best teammates of all time," Jordan said. "Whenever they speak Michael Jordan, they should speak Scottie Pippen."
@@benjamink7105 It's crazy how everyone is trying to say that Jordan didn't give Pippen any credit in The Last Dance when literally that was the first thing that came up in the exact documentary. It shows how powerful these media networks are in spreading "fake news", that it got people thinking that somehow The Last Dance didn't give Pippen enough credit lol.
It couldn't be the "Last Dance" documentary that broke the friendship up. There must have been serious cracks in that relationship long before 2020. I believe Pippen has felt overshadowed by MJ ever since he was drafted by the bulls in 1987. Making matters worse, he got more overshadowed by Jordan's business success after basketball. At least with the bulls he was considered a "sidekick" or "number two". In the real world after basketball, Pippen is nowhere in the stratosphere of Jordan brand and his enormous economic successes. But ultimately, jealousy will destroy any fool who allows it to be a part of their character. You can only be yourself. Why watch someone with envy? How does that help anyone achieve anything?
lol pippen has gone back and forth about who he thinks is better between Jordan and Bron for like a decade now, the last dance didn’t make him change his mind, but it definitely solidified the hatred he has for Jordan.
Scottie made more money than Mike from his nba salary-Almost 20 million more(93m vs 110m). He also played 2 more seasons, granted. He was paid more than he was worth, considering he was NOT close in value to Mike, yet he made about the same.
Using a jordan meme i think the reason is "he took that personally" There is a personal reason for their relationship to 180°, because as we know, pippen knows how jordan is and was. Something new happened that put the nail in the coffin

Started his hall of fame induction speech literally with that. Jordan did not start off the speech by bringing up his parents, nor his siblings, nor his coaches, nor his inspirations, but Pippen. That is the highest degree of respect you could get from the GOAT, and yet it still isn't enough.
In some ways, Scottie Pippen really isn't wrong for deconstructing Michael Jordan like how he has recently. I can see why he wouldn't want to have that 1.8 second clip resurface and if Michael was really the only person in The Last Dance to get paid, that does seem unfair.
Maybe, but Pippen can also make a documentary about his time with the Bulls and get paid. And really, 11 million is nothing for someone like Jordan, I don't think that one of the richest athletes ever needs 11 million.
Jordan donated every cent to charity, just as he donated his Wizards' salary.. In regards to Pippen and the 1.8 seconds of infamy, he had a chance in the documentary to admit an error in judgment; but, instead, he double downed by claiming to repeat the action. This insecure, delusional, feckless little man should be thanking the Almighty for the opportunity of playing alongside MJ., without of whom he would be nothing.
But Pippen knew the 1.8 seconds situation would be in the documentary. I mean, he was asked about his opinion on that situation when he was being interviewed for The Last Dance. So why would he be shocked that it was brought up? They even asked him if he had it all to do over, would he, and he said he would. Again, for emphasis, Pippen knew his sitting out those 1.8 seconds would be included.
Thank you elaborating on this subject. That duo were at a point the 1st and 2nd best players in the league. Scottie however, like other players, Horace Junior Grant Sr., Benjamin Roy Armstrong Jr., Craig Anthony Hodges, among them; have reasons to have grown distant from MJ.
Nah man pippen was never the best 2nd best player in the league. The last dance called him that but he was more like top 7-10 player. Barkley, Robinson , Drexler, Shaq, Ewing ,Hakeem , grant hill , penny , Malone , Garry Peyton, were all better than him
mj is successful after basketball. this is why i think in the long run pip is envious of mj. although pip is right that lbj is the greatest statistical player due to his longevity
Not MJ's fault the doc portrayed the events of Pippen's career and personality accurately,it's also not MJ's fault US divorce laws are so messed up where the broad can take 50% of everything without having worked for none of it.
This video proves Pip is a hypocrite, a liar, selfish, and overall a salty individual Larsa taking Pips money is on him (prenup) annnddddd he signed a 6 year deal!?!? Everyone told him not to bc they knew the NBA will grow in popularity but he chose NOT to listen, again all self inflicted
I find him very polarizing and some days I'm on his side and some days I'm not. The bulls management which was very stingy warned him he was lowballing himself. They happily allowed him to do so which let them construct a winning roster. But he also had a paralyzed brother and father and multiple siblings that depended on him. If he had a career threatening injury he would lose earnings from a short term contract and lose out on a mega deal later. Maybe bulls could renegotiate a deal as a favor. He was also kinda dickish to servers at restaurants and like many athletes who bring up their poor background, end up turning their back on their community and people who work paycheck to paycheck
Even though scottie handled badly the situation, you can understand his resentment. Also I find it disgusting that Jordan got paid for the netflix documentary and none of his ex-teammates got anything. Who is really selfish ...

Jordan's people owned the footage, and he only got paid 3 mil for it, and he donated all of it to charity. Are you seriously blaming Jordan for the money that Scottie and the other guys didn't get? Jordan wasn't the one paying out the money, why don't you hate the right person, like, you know, the people who paid Jordan the money? Not only that, you're expecting Jordan's millionaire teammates to get the money that was given out to charity to help the more unfortunate people? Now, you tell me who's really the selfish one? Millionaires who want to bag charity money for themselves? I expect a response from you by the way.
@@mateuszsyrzycki6814Bruh, dumb argument. Many players in the 90's would've been HOF'ers IF MJ didnt win every single season he laced them up for the whole season and stole most accolades. Also a lot players Lebron faced, were HOF'ers by circumstance. Parker, Ginobili would not be HOF'ers without an actual HOF player like Timmy and Klay and Dray also wouldnt. It's that Lebron lost 6 giving multiple players the opportunity to become HOF'ers.
I don't think that Jordan is to blame because Pippen signed a bad contract, and I don't think that he is to blame because Pippen lost all the money he made from playing in the NBA. And I don't think Jordan is to blame for Pippen's problems in his personal life. Right? Calling Jordan, yes, THE Michael Jordan a 'horrible player' shows low IQ because even a clueless moron knows that Jordan was far from a horrible player. I mean you can attack the guy for other reasons but not his ability as a player. I have seen the last dance and it wasn't that bad, yes the Kukoc scene could be left out but Jordan was just being honest about the good and the bad of the Bulls dynasty from his perspective and he never called Pippen a horrible player because it would make him look like a clown. And what did Pippen win without Jordan? Nothing.
I can’t blame Pippen for feeling this way. Most of the time when Pippen was referred to in the documentary directly it was something negative or passive-aggressive. I feel like Pippen admits he was wrong in sitting that play out when Kukoc hit the game winner, but you never hear Jordan apologize for much of anything. I think Pippen is still bitter he didn’t get paid for much of his career, so when Jordan bashes him for complaining about it when he’s getting paid for the documentary and was always paid while on the Bulls, I’d be upset too. Then his son died, his wife dragged him through a divorce for three years, and then MARRIED Jordan’s son. He also was robbed by a shady financial advisor. I just feel bad for Pippen. Hasn’t been an easy ride for him.
@@zxcvb3772 The title of the documentary was “The Last Dance,” but it might as well have been titled “Michael Jordan.” Jordan criticized a lot of people in the documentary. He criticized Pippen for sitting out because of his salary (which I think was warranted) and sitting out because he didn’t get to shoot the last shot, but like it’s said in Andy’s video: he’s right, Jordan retired and no one seemed to care when he came back. Jordan was the highest player in the league and he criticizes Pippen for being mad about being the 6th highest player ON HIS TEAM. Yes, Jordan said there is no six rings without Pippen, but that’s certainly passive-aggressive when Jordan also talks about him sitting out because of his contract issues and being mad about not getting the last shot. Jordan criticized his entire team, from the players, to the top of the organization. Theres too many to name, you can watch the documentary for the first time to find out. You can also acknowledge Jordan isn’t that good of a person and still think he’s the greatest basketball player of all-time. I think he’s the best player of all-time. Either you’re such a fan you ignore his controversies, you’re not a good person yourself, or you’re not aware of some of the stories of things he’s done. I recommend starting with Jordan’s controversy with the rapper Chamillionaire, which I think is his worst controversy of many. People can’t separate athlete’s actions from their greatness. How many people still talk about Kobe’s #### case? I still think Kobe is a good person for all the good he’s done since then, but I do think Kobe did it. Does that have to mean I don’t like Kobe or it has to write-off all the good he’s done for the world? Does that mean he’s a bad person? No. We all make mistakes. I think he did his best to be redeemed since then.
@@Odysseus1999 1. The Last Dance had criticism for EVERYBODY, and I mean, EVERYBODY. If you're only interested in the positives, then sports documentary is not for you. In case you haven't realized yet, you don't win all these rings without some kind of drama behind the scene, and that's what makes it real. 2. Funny you say that the documentary should've been named "Michael Jordan", because there were so many episodes on Jordan's teammates included in it. You really should re-watch the series. 3. Jordan retired and no one seemed to care? What are you talking about lmao. The entire world cared, but they understood that he had just lost his dad, and he retired after giving the Bulls 3 straight championships and made the team the most popular team in basketball in the world. 4. Even you said the criticism of Pippen is justified. Scottie Pippen did not miss the season with an injury. He missed the season because he DELAYED his surgery during the off season to intentionally screw over the team. If Shaq was criticized for it, why not Scottie? 5. You brought up how Jordan made 30 million a season, yet you failed to realize that Jordan was also UNDERPAID his entire career. How did he get paid 30 mil a season? His contract expired and he was an unrestricted free agent, and his agent negotiated a new contract. Every players in the 1990's were under paid, the ones who signed a long term deal, even more so, it wasn't just Scottie who was underpaid. Everybody, including the Bulls owner advised Scottie to not sign the long term deal, but he did. You have nobody else to blame but yourself for you own action. 6. I like how in 2023, saying the truth is something that's being looked down upon. What criticism from Jordan that you think was unwarranted or straight up wasn't true? You act like the documentary put negative light on everyone but Jordan, which isn't even true. 7. I've seen the Chamillionaire story a long time ago, and it's just funny how people think it's okay to just walk up to a celebrity and bother them. That said, has Chamillionaire story been proven to be true yet? 8. I do not think Jordan is perfect, he's human just like the rest of us, he's capable of bad temper or having bad habits, but just because he didn't always say nice things about others, people act like he's the worse human being that they've ever seen. How about you go listen to Jerry West saying Jordan's one of the nicest person to be around with? Oh wait, that doesn't count, because it doesn't paint Jordan in a negative light. What you don't seem to realize is that, it doesn't always have to be 0 or 100, humans are complex creature capable of range of emotions. 9. Indeed, most people cannot separate athletes' action from their greatness. Fans idolize them too much that they expect perfection from their idol, and get disappointed when they realize their idols don't care about them, like Chamillionaire. Fortunately for me, I don't think anyone's perfect. Everybody has had moments where they were absolutely in the gutter, or moments where they were absolutely in their peak, imagine people judging your character based on just one side of that. 10. A lot of people still talk about Kobe's #### case actually, especially on that crap forum that's r3dd1t. I've read some about it and there were iffy parts about the case like the victim having other men's semen in her, or the victim's friends coming out against her, yet people, especially haters are 100% convinced Kobe did it. Make no sense to me. 11. And yes, people are capable of change and growth. Sadly Scottie Pippen is not one of them, and there are 2 cases for it. First, he sat out in the 1994 ECSF game 3 against the Knicks, because his coach didn't give the ball to him for the final possession, despite the fact that the previous 2 possessions were designed to go through him and he did not deliver. After the game, he was asked again and he said Phil Jackson absolutely made the right choice giving it to Kukoc. What happen 20 years down the line was that Scottie came out and said Phil was a racist because he gave it to Kukoc over Pippen. He even said he would sit out again if given the choice to choose again. Second, is his lack of accountability for his action, especially some of the bad financial decisions he's made over the years. You cannot blame Jordan or every other people for the poor decisions you've made lmao, because that's literally what's stopping the growth from someone.
Its not Jordans fault he made really bad financial decisions, Jordan even told him not to sign that horrible contract and Pippen still did 🤷🏽♂️ this is just envy at its finest, so with that being, said F Pippen.
At some point we have to accept and take responsibility for our own actions. Scottie signed that contract even with everyone including the owner and MJ and he did it anyway. I didn't need to see the last dance to know about him refusing to get in the game vs the Knicks I was old enough to have seen it and the previous 4 possessions that Phil did allow Scottie to try and put them away and he had 3 missed FG and 1 TO .Tony had several game winners that season had they given Scottie a 5th attempt and missed everyone would have put the blame on Phil for not having Tony take that shot the fact that he made it proves it was the right call and Pippen to this day can't get over it and deflects his short comings by blaming someone else. And he was selfish for delaying his surgery he himself admitted to doing it on purpose the only reason he wasn't traded on several occasions was because MJ chose him over S.Kemp and T. McGrady as a matter offact MJ tried helping him with multiple sponsors that he himself never was able to achieve what MJ has. At the end of the day Pippen is just a bitter person who has encountered multiple tragedies and has decided to tell everyone how he has felt for many years. I Loved Scottie to this day I still have my 97 jersey but he has made it hard to continue to root for him I hope he gets the help he so desperately needs to help him find peace and be able to enjoy the rest of his life.
The positive mixed along with the negative opinions of Michael Jordan that Scottie pippen makes puts their relationship in better perspective.pippen mainly talks about Jordan the basketball player not the man.he was close to Jordan for all those years so he would know who Jordan is better than the average person or celebrity.maybe there is genuine bad blood between them on Scottie part but pippen does keep it mostly basketball 🏀.also maybe people just can't believe that pippen and Jordan was never close friends.i believe pippen likes players like himself who do everything and don't take a lot of shots and are pass first guys.ibthink that's why he really likes LeBron over get the ball and score score score guys like Michael Jordan.but I'm glad to hear and see both perspectives pippen has of Jordan with respect to Jordan as well as bashing as opposed to what many post only show of pippen just bashing.
That's one of the reasons players are often terrible analysts even at the basic level of discussing a GOAT list... waaaaaay too emotionally attached...

One of the two greatest duos in NBA history , can’t believe they went from being friends and just being totally insane
But Scottie Pippen ever since the Last Dance Documentary just hasn’t been the same
He might feel under appreciated I guess.

These two made basketball great to watch for me as a kid in Chicago
Scottie is fkn delusional if he thinks anyone is tuning in to watch a documentary about him. That's why MJ got paid and he's a bitter loser.
Pippen is a sore loser. He thinks he is better than Jordan and that the whole thing should have centred around him. That just shows pure envy and jealousy. Screw Pippen - he didnt raise basketball to what it is today - MJ did.
Now it's getting worse cause Marcus is dating Scottie's ex wife Larsa 🤦
i thought i would only see that type of story play out in a bad porno flick, then they came in....

Yet pippen asked Jordan to induct him into the hall of fame🙄

Scottie needs therapy

That's a great point, actually.
Did you know Scottie Pippen said that he forgot to give his condolences to MJ after he father was killed? According to Pippen, he never liked MJ
Pippen got more pay than mostvplayers objectively better than him
*Horace Grant averaged 11 points a game in his entire career. The only reason he is remembered is because he played with Jordan.*
Jaylen Brown your next video Andy Hoops 😤😤😤😤😤
Scottie signed a contract, who many, including the owner, suggested he dont sign, then tried to act out because he realized HE signed a bad contract. What does that tell you about him? He weak. And because he weak, he was never an alpha, and hence why he hated being in Michaels shadow.
Scottie sounds like he signed with clutch
Great video!! I was a huge Bulls fans back in the 90s era of NBA basketball. Mj changed the game in that era, but if it wasn't for Scotty,Harper,Grant, etc Mj wouldn't had the 6 championships, mvp, and all the other achievements. I respect Scotty alot, and hope better days for him and his family 💯

There is no turning back then.
Scottie ain’t been the same since future smashed his ex wife 😂😂😂
lol pippen has gone back and forth about who he thinks is better between Jordan and Bron for like a decade now, the last dance didn’t make him change his mind, but it definitely solidified the hatred he has for Jordan.
Scottie made more money than Mike from his nba salary-Almost 20 million more(93m vs 110m). He also played 2 more seasons, granted. He was paid more than he was worth, considering he was NOT close in value to Mike, yet he made about the same.
Using a jordan meme i think the reason is "he took that personally"
There is a personal reason for their relationship to 180°, because as we know, pippen knows how jordan is and was. Something new happened that put the nail in the coffin

Lol
Jordan donated every cent to charity, just as he donated his Wizards' salary.. In regards to Pippen and the 1.8 seconds of infamy, he had a chance in the documentary to admit an error in judgment; but, instead, he double downed by claiming to repeat the action. This insecure, delusional, feckless little man should be thanking the Almighty for the opportunity of playing alongside MJ., without of whom he would be nothing.
@@cgerman you clearly underestimate, how greedy rich people can be.
I’ve watched the doc a few times. There was nothing in there to be upset over.
Not MJ's fault the doc portrayed the events of Pippen's career and personality accurately,it's also not MJ's fault US divorce laws are so messed up where the broad can take 50% of everything without having worked for none of it.
Did anyone buy his book?
This video proves Pip is a hypocrite, a liar, selfish, and overall a salty individual
Larsa taking Pips money is on him (prenup) annnddddd he signed a 6 year deal!?!?
This what hatred can do too you?

@@zxcvb3772 yeah dont blame jordan never. Only pippen and lebron you can. Amen
@@mateuszsyrzycki6814 Who said anything about Lebron? Are you okay?
Jordan bashes Pippen? How so? People need to stop lying about what the documentary was about to make it seem like Jordan bashed Pippen.
@@zxcvb3772it's almost like they didn't actually watch the documentary and just going by second hand narratives.
@@zxcvb3772 The title of the documentary was “The Last Dance,” but it might as well have been titled “Michael Jordan.”
Jordan criticized a lot of people in the documentary.
Thats wasnt about the doc. This is about Future and Marcus Jordan. If u know u know.
Its not Jordans fault he made really bad financial decisions, Jordan even told him not to sign that horrible contract and Pippen still did 🤷🏽♂️ this is just envy at its finest, so with that being, said F Pippen.
Scott Pippen Was Right
At some point we have to accept and take responsibility for our own actions.
I am happy you take Position for scottie. I feel his view in the game, MJ role on the Team and this "MJ first" problem. It is a Team game, bot "One icon game!" this Attitude is Very frustrating

@@IllMatic97 Overplaying Scottie's impact. How is he underrated? Did he deserve more accolades than all the All-Star selections, top 50/75, Olympic selections, HoF induction, etc.? "Why did MJ get most of the credit?" Because he deserved most of the credit; in team sports, the best players get all the credit AND all the blame. Why is it that when the Bulls got smacked out of the 95 playoffs, it was MJ's fault because he was out of shape and made mistakes down the stretch, but when Scottie quit on his team in 94, it was Phil's r*cism or something? Also, why does no one bust Scottie's lies that Mike was selfish and didn't pass or rebound when MJ had identical career APG and RPG averages?
