Joe had a fantastic recall and knew many people from all aspects of movie, theater , music , sports and beyond. I watch these shows in amazement, as this generation is now beyond the twilight but represents the Utopia I grew up in
When I first started watching this, Guy Le Bow's face seemed so familiar and then it dawned on me he's the sports announcer Bill Kern from Woody Allen's "Radio Days".

Joe Franklin was the "Trixie" of talk show host lol. One of the reasons he was on tv for so long was because he had stock in WOR Channel at the time. Joe was always finagling.
I saw Audrey Meadows at City Center in Midtown Manhattan at a radio live studio event . People were whispering that she was ain the audience. I was so awestruck I could not bring myself to go across the aisle and greet her, even though she was 50 yards away from me. If only I had a camera with me and guys. This was around the year Jackie Gleason died.
Rest in peace, Ms. Randolph! 🖤🌹
I remember Joe Franklin's WABC Ch. 7 show! His closing theme, then, was Irving Berlin's "Remember" Wow..!

I was a guest on his show in 1984. I'd like to see it.

Guy Lebow was entertaining and a good storyteller.
Respectfully, Crabbe didn't replace Weissmuller, he made Tarzan movies for a competing studio
Joyce Randolph.. simply a classy lady in every aspect 👍
original intro to the joe franklin show was better
This looks like something straight out of SCTV. Where's Sammy Maudlin and Bobby Bitman?
❤️❤️❤️
Bring back good memories
Orion was bought by MGM
She is classy lady I wish I could meet her just to say hi and give her a kiss on the cheek

Trixie always bugged me because she mispronounced her lines too much; she'd blow the delivery like the amateurs do. Maybe she was too nervous.
