Pay is not worth it. Dentists are rude Staff is egotistical and stressed 24/7 Dentists also have the highest suicide rate in any career I’ve done this job for 10 years 19-29
@@kristenb5177 haha yes for a dental assistant actually as that’s what I’m doing now! I started with peanuts sure but if you stick with it you can make some serious money I make what a nurse makes here now Hygienist make a little over $100K a year
@@samsmokes3100I’m pretty sure no one is paying assistants $60 an hour. I’ve been an assistant for 10 years in the dc metro area and the highest paying assistant I know gets $35 as a lead. I have yet to hear anyone in my area pay more than that.

No DA earns $60 an hour. $30 tops and that’s for EFDA’s.
