Just to follow up two years later, I ended up doing well on my interview and made it into a startup. The startup allowed me to get my hands in everything and I worked hard. I ended up transitioning to a developer role and the company was bought out by Warner Bros. I now work at Warner as a Software Dev. Cheers.

Very informative! I agree on “When does testing begin?” as being tricky. Though for me testing has 2 variations, verification and validation. Verification starts in Requirements gathering, in my opinion testing(static) in the form of verification starts as early as that. Validation is the actual dynamic testing.

Wow looking at your tips I get goose bumps as I’m new to IT field and trying to learn what you teaching itself gets me confused and having second thoughts of entering this field.... I’m at moment just starting up to take some classes... I will probably pee in my pants if I get any questions like this
Way too complicated. This is a beginners guide. If i get a question like that on an interview i will turn around and walk away or hang up. What's the point of even continuing the conversation? I've been through many interviews so far and not one provided me with the "opportunity to review the description of the project and the roles and responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Testers". Second question is very technical, i doubt it applies to any of the people watching this video. Again, beginners need to start somewhere.

what is the best way to go about writing a entry level resume if i only have all of these questions nailed and understand everything but i only have experiance practicing in class test cases and test plans will they still hire me if i have no experiance
