Cheers man😁 Iv always had a soft spot for these minis and micro RCs, because I'm home so much maybe. And yeah man I couldn't help it, had to bring the ramps out🤪🤘 And off-road😯 wow
Great video! I just got the brushed version due to the good cost but haven’t even unboxed it yet. I want to stay brushed so in the future, could I upgrade to a more powerful brushed motor in this car?
Thank you very much! Yes I think they are more than capable brushed👌 You can change to a more powerful brushed motor you'll just have to find out the T rating (wires turns) of the stock motor and get a new motor with LOWER turns. For example, say the stock motor was 12 turn, if you get a 8 turn motor of the same size it should technically be fast, lower the turns = higher max RPM I think.
Hey mate just came across your channel today what a great channel you have here mate great videos. Came across this video as I’m looking for my first cheapie drift car for just to muck around at home with. Amazing price on this little thing the other car I had in mind obviously more coin for it but it’s the Kyosho Fazer Ford Mustang what’s your thoughts mate? Cheers mate
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it🙏 These little udirc cars are very good for the price, im not sure if the brushless version has upgrade diffs but the plastic diffs do need a little work or upgrading to make them much better. The Fazer I'm not sure about, never had or used one but being bigger and a great brand it will be set-up almost perfect for what you are looking for. I may get a Fazer to test out one day👍
@@rccrazy Really appreciate the reply I’m pretty new to RC so still have lots to learn. For the price I guess I cannot expect the idirc to be perfect I will do some more research on them both and hopefully pick up something down the track. Watched a few other of your videos so far in spare time and really enjoying them so thanks for making them. Keep doing what you are doing nailing it man. Cheers
Again, thank you so much! And you are very welcome, glad your enjoying some of my content🙂 Whatever car you end up getting I hope you enjoy it and it gets you more interested in this awesome hobby👌
That is exactly what these are perfect for👌 no mods need really, get drift and grippy wheels and they are so much fun😅 I got mine on ebay for about $90aus but check out the brushless version, they are about $170aus but crazy little rigs! hobbiesdirect.com.au/UDI-116-Rally-4WD-Electric-Brushless-RTR-RC-Drift-Car-White-UD1603-PRO
I've got an awesome question for everyone. Is there a Chassis Brace for the Traxxas Slash 4x4, lcg? Must not be from Traxxas or Vg Racing (as they don't ship to Australia)! If not, is there a welder who can knock one up for me please 🙏 (You don't even have to paint it) And no, I refuse to pay $raxxas $65 for rubbish :)
There about $55 from Hobbies Direct but yeah postage brings it up a bit. The issues is it's not just the shaft that is required, you also need the brace parts witch would be difficult to make without a mold or something. I know how you feel, I really want that part aswell😕
@@rccrazy Can't that hard ( I used to weld) a rod and a strip of metal bent to shape will do it. The VG chassis looks like it's just braised on ^^??? :) Oh the pain.... :) Hobbies Direct are pretty good on price.
Yeah it could be done, you need to find a engineer who can weld alloy. My dad is a welder/boiler maker but he can't weld alloy sadly I'll have a go at making one by hand I think, if successful I'll make you one😅👍
These are awesome fun RC's out the box, love these little cars, great vid bro 😎👍🇦🇺🍻 Have a good weekend
Yeah man there perfect for little areas like the driveway👌
Can't wait to try the brushless version😁
