Hmm, it doesn't look like the dev implemented any of the suggestions from during the demo. The things Wander asks for in this video are the same suggestions *a lot* of people gave back then. Stuff like assigning units to defending the castle, RTS controls, not making units just rush to their deaths through contact damage (especially for ranged units), assigning units to squads so they stick together... It's unfortunate that none of that made it into the release. On the other hand, the game only costs €2.15 right now, so I guess we can't ask for much.
I do wonder whats up with the developers releasing these early demos and then not implementing any of the feedback received or even considering it.
@@Meta_Mage Agreed. They even had this whole survey thing. What's the point of that if they're not doing anything with it?

@@JHG_1 yeah, I saw that too. I'm glad they're doing something about it now, but it would have been better if they'd looked into this before release. There were already plenty of complaints about units running to their deaths and triggering too many spawners during the demo.
@@elifia I think that was the whole point of them being mindless undead that they can't follow orders cause they don't understand them wich makes sense in all honesty
I kid you not when my thought process was "I wanna see gameplay of Necrosmith to see if it's something I'm interested in... SURELY Wanderbots has some gameplay footage of it!" xD

I think I remember this from an earlier stage of development. I'm glad to see it's released and with more consistency and wackiness, it looks like a budget banger alright.

Shit is empty and soulless right now - wants to be some well functioning bastard of an RTS with a roguelike and it does NOT work as either pretending to be both. Gameplay loops feel like I'm mismanaging something but I don't know what.
Have to disagree with you there regarding the soulless comment. They did add a defend option though for a bit more control.
