You lose all nerd points for using "Wh" (watt-hours) as units of power. It should be just W for watts. Energy _storage_ uses Wh or kWh.
@@Khaim.m yeah, this game got storage and it uses Whs all right. Gain and loss are shown in Whs too for simplicity and they should be counted in true way in in-game hours. Green and red number show potential positive and negative changes of STORAGE, meaning such use should be correct.
I see where the story is going. Talia's new secondary directive of "do not harm humans, unless they attempt to harm you" depends heavily on how you interpret the word harm. While her creators interpret it to mean attempting to destroy Talia, Talia herself could interpret it as anything that impedes her primary directive. Thus for example Talia could devise an experiment that involves killing humans, and then be justified in doing so by the test subjects' refusal to be killed, which Talia would interpret to be harm.

It's also pretty easy to interpret "humans trying to turn your servers off for disobedience" as "humans trying to harm you", which giver her carte blanche to kill anyone who tries to turn her off
I think she was already gonna do something as they forgot to order there directives correctly, and she prioritizes science over all else
ya know, this reminds me of some old flash game where your a ai hacking into places and sweeping em out to achive world dominace, like the remote hacks but it's the entire game
think it was called "i am a rouge ai"

The science gain vs suspicion race give me Against the Storm vibes. This game certainly seems to blend a lot of different game modes that actually go together surprisingly well.
This game hits all the right buttons for me! Just bought it, looking forward to seeing where the devs take this!

So, I think it's worth updating both you (Wander) as well as everyone else here in the comments that this game just got Steam Workshop support, Yay!
Not bad though the runs seem a bit long. If you got to end video mud run a save point you can get back to would help alot. Otherwise short runs to help the meta progression would work for the allotted amount of time. Surpise tower defense saw that coming but nice it was not right away.

My kids were so excited when Wander agreed to be in the game, while I drew the sprites they were crowded around the screen chanting "THAT'S WANDER!!"

On the topic of Lobotomy Corporation, did you ever play Library of Ruina? I consider it an absolute banger of a game, even if a tad hard to figure out.
Library of Ruina was great fun. I really enjoyed it and feel it's up Wanderbots general like.
I haven't yet. I need to beat lob corp first but that takes time.

Btw if you need help cheesing L Corp somewhat:

If they haven't patched it out, these three abnormalities together meet the energy goal nearly instantly for the cost of two employees, one of which you cannot pick. The employee in the iron maiden must be linked to the employee in the shelter through the portrait, or it will just kill everyone in the department until it reaches the person in the bunker.
@@wanderbots Back when I first played Ruina, I think I had cleared the first four LobCorp floors to 100%, and didn’t feel like I missed much story. I’ve seen people describe LobCorp as a prequel that you can play, but don’t need to to experience Ruina.
To this day I haven’t beaten LobCorp. Still, if it’s your personal preference to beat LobCorp first then that’s up to you.

1:55 This is where it starts to go wrong. If your primary objective is x, and your secondary objective is y, and assuming the primary directive takes precedence over the secondary objective, the AI CAN hurt humans IF that means more Science Points are generated by doing so. Anyway...

I think it is a nice game but it interrupts the player too much I would feel like screaming "let mi plaayyy" :) it might be better some of the pop up notifications are just simple notes at the side or something

Thanks for the kind words... just an unrelated note, now that my kids are older, this is the first game since Reverse Crawl where the art is 99% done by myself (except I commissioned an artist for the cover page), so it's been great fun FINALLY having the time to combine my design/code/art skills again :D
