- We go on a day trip from Tokyo’s Shinjuku station all the way to see Mount Fuji for the first time! What an incredible experience. Definitely add to your list of must-sees whilst in Japan 😍

We didn’t disrupt traffic, as you can see by the road markings
Please stay off the roads when you next visit. It is incredibly disruptive to the locals and there are signs saying don’t take photos on the road. I was there recently and was so frustrated at tourist behaviour. There are plenty of amazing spots to take photos of Fuji-san without disrupting local traffic.
We didn’t stop in the road 😊 as you can see traffic could pass with no issues

@@betsythompsI mean a car had to over take you… even if you weren’t disrupting traffic to the extent of what I witnessed - this perpetuates the idea that it’s fine for others to do it. As I said there are so many better places to get a similar shot without being disruptive and jaywalking (which is breaking illegal).
The lake pic looks to be the best with pagoda 2nd. Why anyone wants a pic with that ugly convenient store is crazy. Heck even a view of the mountain with those wires in it is bad.
Next time just take the bus ! It’s a 2 hr ride to fujiyoshida, you’d have enough time for the boat tour then 🤟
Ah we tried to look into this but couldn’t find any bus availability for the day we wanted to go!
