Hi there, we booked our tickets at the counter at the station. Not sure the best link sorry 🙏🏼 the bus we got on ended in Kawaguchiko and we just got off the bus early at Shimoyoshida
everything with japan is reservations so def check in advance. Some reservations open from 1 - 3 months early! and they go out quickly so look into that when going to japan! this goes with cafe's parks' trains etc.
hello again, i already found an alternative route. I cant seem to find the direct route from Shinjuku to shimoyoshida. But i'll just go to Kawaguchiko station then Shimoyoshida station and follow your steps from there hihi!! Going up to chureito pagoda, is there any wheelchair/stroller pathway to go up? We are going to with our almost 3years old son next year in april. I know that its pretty but if we cant go up, might as well skip this place?

Hey! Yes of course we use Wandrd backpacks, great and super comfortable. They also have a bottle holder which is amazing (we have 1.2L bottles), and fits all our cameras and other bits and bobs no problem.

Would it be possible to get your transportation notes for this Mt Fuji day? I am going in March for my dream bucket list trip to Japan. I am planning to do a day trip from Shinjuku to do this exact itinerary ( with ropeway) I was almost planning to skip it and do Hakone instead because it’s easier to get too, but I just feel like this is a lot less touristy and memorable. I am reading that it’s best to reserve your bus ticket ahead of time to make sure you get on it early in the morning which is concerning because I would rather make sure I get to go on a good weather day, but I want to make sure I have enough time to enjoy the area and get there at an earlier time. Around what time did you head back to Shinjuku that evening?

We applied for a permit to fly our drone in Japan. There are usually signs where it will state not to drone if drones aren’t allowed, and of course abide by any drone rules as with other Countries :) DJI also cover a bit of information about flying in Japan and share where you can find more info on dos and don’ts :)
It depends where you plan to visit. There are some beautiful scenic spots definitely worth droning. However we always recommend you check the local rules, laws and regulations with drone use depending on the location/prefecture/city etc.. 🙏🏼

We visited in February. However we did recently visit Mt. Fuji again in June and managed to see Mt. Fuji. Tbh you have to get lucky. You can visit any time of year but it comes down to the weather.

We walked back to the train station from the lake :) about 20-30 mins walk. Think there was a bus available to catch if you wanted to get that instead

It depends what part of mount fuji you are visiting. But it took 2 hours to get to where we got off the bus from Tokyo city :)
