I went to B&BW yesterday and smelled all 3….yeah, not the best but not the worst. When it comes to vanilla scents in my opinion…..they should either smell like pure vanilla, a mature/sexy vanilla (like Mon Paris from YSL, I believe it has some vanilla notes in it) or a gourmand bakery vanilla. As for Milk and Honeycomb, yes they’re lighter fragrances but they’re so light that they don’t last very long. If anything all 3 could’ve been combined to create a whole new fragrance with a matching body lotion, body cream, and shower gel.
They weren't for me either. I don't think there's a fragrance they've created this year that I liked, unfortunately. Regarding YSL Mon Paris. This fragrance does not have vanilla. According to their website, "On top, a delicious red-fruity accent drags your senses into a blooming floral heart: a bouquet of datura flowers and elegant white peonies. Deeper within lies the white patchouli for unconditional sensuality. Combined with exceptional white musks, they fuse into a unique structure that feels aerated and clean yet extremely sensual." They list: Fruity Floral, Datura Flower, Patchouli, Red Berries, Sweet Chypre
Thanx for sharing… I purchased all three.. I actually love vanilla romance didn’t think I would. Because of the spice… the honeycomb and milk are just ok but I’ll definitely keep them in my collection.
Together Weather is one of my favorites - I can’t describe it but it has qualities I love - a lot of times my feelings flip flop on fragrances (I liked Dream Bright and Luminous in the store but had to take them back- too powdery or sickening sweet) - I knew instantly TW was a love - it’s funny because the sales associate was pushing Sweater Weather saying I’d probably like it better - nope.
Vanilla Romance smelled too smokey on me and I hated it. It reminded me of Lune Feline, in the sense, that it’s a smokey vanilla on me. I love the Milk spray. Very nice and cozy. The honey was a letdown. It smells awful on my skin. Great video and review! 😊
Yes! Vanilla Romance reminds me of Lune Feline as well, but I really like the dry down of VR more than the opening. The honey didn’t impress me at all. I thought I was going to want backups, but 1 is enough for me. The Milk mist is definitely the standout for me.
Sooooo glad you’re reviewing these now!! I was really really curious about vanilla cardamom because I LOVE Together Weather, which has it. Heck - I might try and dupe some of them with what I have- but I haven’t smelled these yet
I had the same thought, eclaire has both milk and honey notes. I imagine they'll be great together, my favorite combo with eclaire is b&bw cozy vanilla bourbon they smell similar to me. XoX
I am surprised people like this😁 That cardamom note hits you in the face. Spicy. Made my nose sting & tingle for hours. Couldn't wait to get home & shower & scrub this off me. I must not like cardamom. Vanilla Romance has very little vanilla.

I love your straightforward approach to reviews. I like Vanilla Romance, but it’s definitely not the same as Bonfire Bash, which I preferred because it had more sweetness than this new one. I agree that the cardamom note in VR is prominent. I prefer a more pure vanilla. And I don’t think the name “Vanilla Romance” fits. I would expect it to be a vanilla floral or more sweet, with that name. I think one of the best (and most affordable) honey scents is Kim Kardashian’s Pure Honey perfume. I think the Milk scent will be nice for layering. I’ve never smelled Commodity Milk, but have heard that it smells similar to BBW Sweet Whiskey.
I finally received my order containing Vanilla Romance, I've been so excited to try it! And I absolutely agree with your review, almost spot on. I'm not a fan of cardamom in body care or perfume, either. So, I was really disappointed when I first learned BBW newest vanilla featured cardamom. I actually do enjoy Vanilla Romance, I'm testing it out today more as well. And I keep feeling the same way you do. If it didn't havd the cardamom, I'd fall in love with it. The cardamom fades and it's nice enough for me to keep and enjoy, but I won't be buying more. If it was just vanilla absolute and woods... I would buy 5 backups! LOL! Oh well. 😂
I bet honeycomb and milk are great for mixing with other scents rather than on their own. I’m sure milk would smell great mixed with vanilla romance and probably give it that extra sweetness you were looking for
I purchased VR and the MPM online just to try. I also got WVW because I've never tried it before. I heard VN is kinda unisex, so I'm hoping to like that one. BBW got a lot of vanilla scents in rotation right now 😂 Thanks Claire for the video ❤
I picked up vanilla romance in a mini, and I dont think I need the full size. I have many products that smell similar. I also picked up Milk and Honeycomb. I like both, but it's backup worthy to me. I'm going to purchase the body butter during a sale. Tfs

I wasn’t sure about Honeycomb until I combined it on my skin with the body oil. I think it enhanced the strength and the sweetness on me. I wanted to love Milk but it didn’t smell good on me, so I left it. But that’s ok because I was able to pick up the Halloween scents! I also surprisingly liked Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte. I don’t usually like pumpkin scents, but for some reason I’m enjoying them this year. 🧡
I definitely don't smell that comparison at all. The cardamom in VR is so medicinal and herbal on my skin where as BG doesn't have that aspect at all. I'm actually smelling them both on my skin right now and I can't find the dupeness between them at all. I hope your BG doesn't have that medicinal opening that VR does.

I just received my order for the new Victoria Secret Crisp Marigold Pear and Rich Honeysuckle Apricot. I really enjoy both, however to make them more sweet, it would be super helpful to layer with a honey fragrance, for my body chemistry the added sweetness would be perfect. Do you think Honeycomb from BBW would help with adding that kind of autumn sweetness (not sugary gourmand, more subdued and rich)? If not, do you perhaps have a recommendation? Thank you so much! ❤

I usually enjoy lactonic scents, so I went to the store with the intention of purchasing it… but I sprayed the tester and was kinda grossed out. Something smelled really off to me. I haven’t made it back to the store to try it again, but my first impression of it wasn’t good and it didn’t go home with me. I picked up Vanilla Romance that day instead.
I dislike the mist version of Vanilla Romance so much because of that heavy herbal cardamom. The lotion and cream versions are much more tolerable imo. The mist version of Coco Shea Honey smells like a lighter scent profile of this old school hair grease called Dax (the white coconut scented one). That scent profile wasn't amazing on the scalp and it's even less appealing as a body spray. 😂 I used a reward to buy the Milk mist, but because I found it so very light in scent AND because it has a screw on atomizer, I used some of my gourmand fragrance oils to deepen and sweeten up the scent. Now it smells like a divine warm sweet cream. 🤤 On its own undoctored, I don't know if it's worth purchasing, even at a sale price. You won't even smell it on yourself 10 minutes later.
@@bbgoddess30 I used marshmallow FO, buttercream icing FO, oatmeal butterscotch FO (but plain butterscotch should work), a teaspoon of real vanilla extract to make it age great (the kind I have is double strength meant for baking), and a bit of brownie batter FO to round it out and give it a white chocolate feel. I bought all of my FOs from Bulk Apothecary.
I went to smell these yesterday. I heard so much about Milk I had to try it. People were raving about it. I smelled it and was so grossed out. Maybe it was a bad tester, but it smelled like curdled milk. To be sure I sprayed it on my hand and couldn’t wait to get home and wash it off. I definitely don’t get the hype. As for honeycomb it was nice. It reminded me of Honey from Pink, so I skipped on that one since I have Pink honey. So I only walked out with Vanilla Romance.

I loooove and miss Almond Blossom Oat Milk. It was a perfect all year gourmand. It layered great too
