    Mike, shouldn't the washer behind the outer nut have had an ear bent over to lock the outer nut in position? Seems like that could have been a potential issue down the road.

      Tom Fitch yes since the washer was not bent over that’s probably what caused the front bearings to be loose

    Nice job , how much tork the nuts on wheelbearing and bolts on the axleshaft when you done ?

      Just snug the inner nut until there is no play in bearing while spinning drum,back inner nut off the distance of one flat on inner nut,spin drum and see how it feels,should be about right with no excess pressure on bearing,or excess clearance on inner and outer bearing!
