Sharing this with my 13-year-old daughter, she's gone all goth (totally without my influence, although I was one) ... she's all about strong women and Toni Halliday is a great role model for her.
Nice! mine is 13 too, and I'm trying to expose her to all of my old favorite bands, Curve being #1. The Birthday Massacre is a great current band if you get a chance
gone all goth :))) it might be like a 33th wave !
@@hellmik 33?
Toni was my goth gateway drug ^^
I will always love Curve.
I swear almost every single Peel Session I've heard from different bands are excellent. It's like all the bands actually gave a crap and played their A-game.
I know right?!!
Thanks to Alan's Recoil and to Depeche i know Curve and Toni's voice. . In 2017 i was at hospital for 3 weeks, my temperature was over 39-40 for a long time. But when i listened to Curve(Hung Up, Coast is Clear) y temperature becomes normal. I dont know what is this.... Thanks Toni and Dean..
For me too!! Alan forever ♥
So far ahead of there time, by far one of my favorite bands. The best times always have been with Curve as the background soundtrack
It's so damn criminal they went relatively unnoticed here in the States. Been a fan '95, thanks to late night MTV. Even own some import singles (both BlackerThreeTrackers, and Pink Girl with the Blues), and evey album. Love them ao much.
I can thank Beavis and Butthead for my discovery of Curve as well as several others from that era.
In NYC area they were very noticed - sold out NYC every time they played in the 90s
I listened to this as a girl back in ‘91 and was a Curve fan forever more! Thank you for sharing this, RIP John Peel.
The Peel session magic! Everyone played at the top of their game for master.
Curve’s mesh of delicately dark vocals, wild guitars and thundering rhythms was delicious.
Beautifully put. They were both beguiling and dazzling at once- for a brief, glorious moment in time..
God damn it I love curve so much
Toni's rap in "Ten Little Girls" is a masterclass!
Yeah - I actually think it's better than in the original recording.
All my favourite Curve tracks on one session:)
Mainstream didn't understand this music back then. This and The Lo-fi Allstars. I did :-)
Butch Vig did ;)
Hell yeah. For years I closed my live dj sets with "Battleflag". And Curve is my favorite band. So fun. 👍
This 10 little girls version is better than the released version.
I wish I could go on a date with 90s Era Toni Halliday.
No Escape From Heaven sounds f**king amazing here
I love this band.
Not fuckin one thumbs down so far , keep it thus
2 now. Idiots...
Curve RULE ok
Toni is the muse..
This is epic. I missed this the first time around, what a time to be at university when grunge hit. Best era for music, drugs, girls, drink, gigs
OMG i love Toni!
i love her angry expression hahahaha
OOoooh good stuff this.
I SAW THE BAND IN FULL LIVE TRANSMUSICALES DE RENNES DECEMBER 1991. GUITARS LIKE CHAINSAWS? GROOVY BEAT AND SHE SINGED VERY GOOD
