I already have 5 ka-bar fighting knives but I think I need this one. Have the forest green 1211 straight edge with hard matching sheath, black 1211 serrated with black leather sheath, 2 USMC with brown leather sheaths, and a 1221 straight edge with black hard sheath. All of mine get used pretty heavily but want this one to add to the list of user knives.
I would also like to get the new one with the tan handle and the black blade. The Kabar USA knives are amazing. The Becker series is awesome too. We have several videos on them!
Cool review! You lucky guy! I desperately want to buy this knife - it's just looks awesome and feels so sturdy. The grip is sticky & solid and the grey and blue finish is so original! My only issue is the powdercoated blade. I'm pretty sure that with a few days of camping out in the Australia bush i'd destroy the powdercoated finish ruining the aesthetics of the blade. Any chance of doing a test review to show how it holds up? Cheers
Australia? Nice! The problem is, I got this blade as a collectors item, so i dont want to wear the finish at all! However, I have several other kabars that have the same finish that we can test, just not this knife specifically. 🗡
@@undeadbrosm41a39 Fair enough. It seems that every single person who has purchased this specific Kbar knife so far bought it simply as a collectors item. Which i completely understand - it's a beautifully crafted piece of artwork. A knife to treasure. There isn't a single video / review of this knife being being put through rigorous testing yet. Hopefully someone will take up the challenge!

What a goofy knife..... I want one! They need to do a short version... I don't use my full size kabar's much.
The small ones are easier to carry.
