I have 2 octanes, spare engine and a bunch of parts, it's the truck that got me back into the hobby after 20 years. It was a rough go but eventually I did get it figured out. Much more info about them these days than back when it was released. Your's is probably the best shifting one I have ever heard! I have the Losi gas one too but the HPI was just always a bit more interesting, to me anyways. Take care and enjoy. You're doing a great job with things!
@@Dre357 The Losi one I was referring to was the 1/8 xxl2 gas truck. I decided the 1/5 scales just are not for me. They are awesome but man everything about them is a hassle. Fun to work on but man everything about them just takes up too much space.
What a nice sounding engine. You can just tell it's been lovingly maintained
@@stanley1554 thanks!
@@Dre357 you are most welcome buddy 🙏
I love the sound of a gasser idling. Can't wait to get my first gas 1/5 scale. Thanks for the videos!
@@Malevolent502 me too! Thanks for watching!

@@richardgordon9649 thanks! I try. I also agree that it's more interesting than running my 5th scale gaser. Thanks for watching!

@MR.B.1620 thanks! I call it my Hot Rod. 😁
You should get some foldable metal jumps. That way you can do some air time!
