I am going to be honest with you. I think this is the best makeover you have ever done. The bed spread and the curtains were right on spot for a guys room and they actually looked very luxurious. I loved the lamps and the art work and just the simplicity of the painted walls in a very complimentary color to the rest of the colors in the room.

This was a project I was so excited to share with you because it really shows a budget friendly side to interior design and shows that it is possible to have a beautiful space without breaking the bank. ! Total cost was around $360 that includes both nightstands, rug, bedding, curtains, lamp shades, mirror, picture frames , map and other small decor! I do realize there is a lot more i could have done to his space but with such a tight budget I was limited on what I could purchase and that's a huge challenge with budget decorating especially when your trying to make it look as nice as possible. Overall I think his room fits his personality well and looks really nice so a Huge shout out goes to Cole for allowing and trusting me to redecorate his space & Seina sleep for sponsoring the video. @@loricawley54 around 1200 it's about 399 for frame and 499 for mattress then i spent 361 on everything else. however those items weren't what really transformed the space looks wise. A new frame and mattress is wonderful for comfort and i think its worth buying 100% but I do understand it's not realistic for everyone to buy so if I would have just used his old bed in there the overall look would have still been very similar. ❤️ Working on a tight budget means most of the time you have to compromise and maybe even work slow over time. I'm thankful they sent the mattress and headboard so it wasn't a cost I had to cover. Cole said the mattress is amazing so I'm thankful I agreed to the sponsor he deserved to have a nice bed! ❤️

Have you seen the fork hack for hanging pictures? You put the tines on the screw and then slide the picture wire over the handle, then remove the fork and it lays on the screw/nail perfectly. The coffee bean sack would look cool wrapped around a canvas, too (just stick a canvas inside, staple it, and cut off the excess), It’s a beautiful, peaceful room - good job!
Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad you did a different style other than Farmhouse. It's nice seeing you branch out into different decorating styles. This is perfect for a guy's bedroom. Looks great!

I completely agree with you about the wire on the back of picture frames. I use them often. I was having those same struggles today trying to hang a simple clock on the wall. Lol. So frustrating when that happens. Wow, his bedroom looks like an adult bedroom instead of a teenager bedroom in the before. You did great!!

What a beautiful room. It went from being a teenage boys room to an adult man's room. Very modern and sophisticated. Maybe when he has a few extra dollars he can paint it a light Grey. That would add to the vibe.

Great makeover! Livable and upscale. I have a QVC portable steamer. They aren’t expensive. It really makes a difference with curtains and linens. You and your helpers did an awesome job!
I have the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam. It’s a good steamer, around $55, and the steam is better than the cheapie ones I’ve had in the past. It is still handheld, but it gives off copious amounts of steam, no dripping or spitting out water, and releases wrinkles faster than my previous cheaper steamer. Great makeover, Sis! 😊
This makeover is amazing. I saw that round mirror at Walmart and I’m so upset that I didn’t buy it. The size is perfect and I liked that it was not heavy. All of the stores are sold out.

This turned out beautifully. Great job Karrie! That circular tray is also used to mash up avocados when making guacamole. It is actually a perfect piece for his room since he has a lot of travel decor. You have a great eye for design.
It looks SO good! I laughed at you struggling with that mirror because I was the same way with mine. Those things are a pain to hang, but they are so nice. I love those travel photos too. So cool!
Very nice! The art and the colors you chose are spot on! I have 8 foot ceilings and I took the advice of hanging the curtain rods as high on the wall as I could. My ceilings look like they are 9 feet tall! Also, you may need more black out curtains to actually cover the window above the bed for sleeping. Your room rearrangement is perfect! Much more visually pleasing. Good job Karrie! You have the knack!
For the makeover to be low budget it’s a drastic change! I really don’t even know what was the biggest impact, but I feel like the thrift store nightstands really made a huge difference! It looks great! Masculine, but still cozy.

I'm a 5' 2" retired decorator doing my bedroom over again and I struggle with mirrors, drapes and picture frames too! I had to laugh at how you dealth with those problems and it was like watching myself! Your project turned out beautiful! You reminded me that all that smooth perfectionism the others show is only in their videos. ❤😊
The only issue is mopping when you put on floor. I personally like to go up a little to keep from getting dirty and we were also on a tight budget so 84in curtains were the best I could do 😅 this two panel pack was really affordable. But I agree floor to ceiling does make a difference 😁

Nice job. Generally I don't care for pictures just sitting on surfaces but this one looks really good. I think because the picture has nice colors and the surrounding globe and black dish have round edges and contrast nicely with the straight edges on the picture.
