I am doing same bike as the cafe racer project. The tank is just a nightmare! I can not find better tank wich would fit without big changes in the frame. Do you have any ideas about tank? I gonna go for lithium battery under the seat and place it horizontaly, as well as all the electronics to clear up the space where air box was before. Gonna lower the handlebars aprox 10 cm.
@@devibe9568 Good to know that i'm not the only one :) I left the tank as is, just used some filler and a bit welding. I know that is not the best choice, but i didn't want to modify the frame. I cut the rear part of the frame off to make shorter and fitted cafe racer style seat on it. The box for air filter removed as well and placed all the electronics in that place in the custom made metal box. Air filters i ordered from Ali express. Carburetors need to have adjustments after that because it's less resistance for air to get into carbs , you gonna need tool for that.

Interesting, I am with same project. How did you do with your tank? And what filters did you put on how did you set the carburetors after that?
