Nice demo. I have same model, but it won’t start. Just got it on June 1st, and finally today got around to putting it together. Never had issue starting my gas mower, but never owned a weed whacker so have no idea why it isn’t starting. Contacting customer service to see if they can help or just return it get something else.
I noticed with mine if I prime it, Hold full throttle and pull it seems to start but without giving it gas it can be hard to start. I have never had one with no choke like this one. Thanks for watching.
Nice video. Craftsman and Troy bilt are both built by MTD and are not built for longevity. Especially the four strokes. I myself prefer the older Stihls.
I bought one on April 3rd of this year and got maybe two or three hours out of it and something happened with the cable inside of the shaft because it won't spin any attachments
@@jason-white I'm sure it is but the warranty repair center is 5 weeks behind on doing repairs. I followed another repair video and it solved the problem for the time being. Least I can use it now :)
how has it held up? I found one in the junk pile and it will stasrt but sound like its revving too high, then diies,., its an odd set up because it has a choke barrel thats closed normally, then when you pull ther throttle it opens.
Lately it has been hit and miss. I plan on making another video soon of some issues I have had with it. Oddly enough mine dose not have a choke, I think it's the first trimmer I have ever seen without one. Thanks for watching.
Craftsman doesn't make anything they just put their name on it But since you said it favors your troy built and since Lowe's sales it im certain it is a troy built. I was gonna purchase one but after this video I'm not sure if I am now or not
It's hit and miss, seems to run fine once it starts but it also seems 50% of the time it dosnt want to start. I still have it and still use it from time to time but never rely on it. Thanks for watching.

The Troybilt one I had was not great at all, it was however early on in small 4 strokes. Thanks for watching
Thank you 💯👍🏾

Send a support request to Craftsman, I have found their warranty to be top notch.

@@David-cy7qv I've never had them repair a tool. They alway just replace it.
I got the same one. No choke. But my trimmer will not idle its either dead or full on throttle.
Still willing not start

No video on how to set it up??
There is really not much to the setup, I will run over that in an upcoming video.

Que aceite lleva esa desbrozadora, saludos desde México.

Matt, try not to be yourself. Much appreciated for the demo👊🏾
Use 50:1 tru-fuel much better
Why would you use 2 stroke fuel in a 4 stroke engine? Thanks for watching.

Spilled fuel, start in enclosed space, and a pony tail hmmmmm.
It could be the door is open, the big garage door
