@@stevejones9878 Cheers Steve, thanks for joining us, couldn’t agree more, wouldn’t hesitate heading back there next time. It would have been so welcoming to see that sea after coming off the Gibb 😎👍🏻
Wow , that brings back amazing memories from my teenage years 50 yrs ago , Used to wander around with the locals , fishing and camping . That area is a bit special to my family , my Grandfather helped establish the One Arm point community moving everyone across from Sunday island . We moved back to the Kimberley area in the 70s and built a boat to transport supplies to the Bardi community from Derby as it was so much quicker to go by ocean than travel that shocking road as it was back then .. Sadly government regulations changed and we were stopped from assisting the community so returned to Albany . It has been over 40 years since our last visit and your presentation has made me a bit homesick 🥲 . Sorry about my reminiscing , Great episode by the way.👍👍😍
Hello, I have worked in the area on a few occasions and have had to travel to Sunday Island to do some maintenance repairs as well. I am in awe of the serenity at Sunday island, I guess the isolation was an issue that brought them back across. or was/has there been other issues that had been at play?
Reading your post made us go …. Wow … this is what we love to hear …. Through our visual storytelling inspired beautiful stories such as yours to surface and be shared. We really appreciated you sharing this, absolutely lovely to hear how this place holds a special place in your families hearts . What an incredible role your grandfather played in the community up there . Please … no apologies … we LOVE knowing that our videography “brings this place to you “ ( even tho it makes you homesick 😌) Thank you so much for joining us and taking the time to comment here. Take care Pete n Tan
Hey Guys loving your content. We are about to purchase a Sojourn loaded at a Tare weight 2.9tonnes empty. I have ordered a 2025 V6 3.0litre Ranger with a GCM GVM Upgrade so its leagal. Is the Ranger up to the task? Would you use a bigger car if you had your choice again? Looking forward to another video.
Hi Joe, thanks so much. We love sharing our journey and tips. The combination the Ranger and Zone Sojourn performed so well for us travelling 20,000 kms this year. To be honest we wouldn’t get a bigger car. We love the ability to 4Wd without the van and still have an around town car to park in the cities. Cheers Pete
