Thanks Moike!! A month of sundays would be awesome, with the way the car and trailer look now I reckon it will be a year of Sundays 🤣🤣 we resided to the fact before starting the trip that they would never be the same and it is safe to say that is already true 🤣🤣

Its good to see that you have a stone guard on the rear of the vehicle.I have a few stones hit my windscreen from only camper trailers (caravans seem to be ok from reflecting stones).

      @@bradleyfryer5563
      Hey Bradley,
Correct, we had the maxxis AT when we did that trip. I was very impressed with them. we took the 200 over some pretty unforgiving ground, corrugations, gravel, rocks, etc, and they never let us down. we never had a blow out due to rocks or road conditions but did manage to get a long tech screw imbedded in one which I just plugged and kept going. The gibb river road chopped them up a bit though. Their performance on the road is pretty good as well. They're not as quiet as HT but not as bad as other Tyres I've used.
the size is 285x70x17 (33inch) on standard rims. they fit with no scrubbing but I do have a 2 inch lift. hope this helps.
      cheers

      Hey there, Hall family.
I haven't done the gravel calculation, but our average all up to this point is 20L/100. If i had to geuss, I'd say the gravel was about 22. From memory, the longest stretch between fuel points was about 400kms. If in doubt, jerry Cans are a good fall back plan. Happy planning, you'll love it.
