This is a fine production both vocally and visually. The modern setting proves just how timeless the piece is. First class chorus, taking an vital part in the action. You can almost feel sorry for poor Tonio with every one "sending up" his limping gait. The guy playing Silvio, a better actor than singer but still good. The other principals excellent. Canio
perfect casting as the ageing, insecure, anti-hero. Good singer.
Well disciplined orchestra.
