Great to go on the ride and see all the scenery. I can't really travel too much right now so I go along for the ride here. It's almost the same feeling. We really have been blessed to have this beautiful country to ride through. Not too many people at all, so we've got plenty of room to grow if we wanted to. And the lush fields of crops are so awe inspiring. Just think of all the people those farmers feed.
Interesting . My Father was a brakeman/conductor on the old Cap, Worked B&O (now CSX) Willard Ohio to Chicago Grand Central via Garret, Syracuse, La Paz for South Bend, , Walkerton to Gary. Pretty much the same view.
why don't you say where the train is as it goes through the towns? There are only a few who talk during the trip..Ide like to know where and what town your in!!
Loved seeing my old hometown of Chesterton, Indiana as you flew by! Great video of the midwest!

Too bad you weren't on the other side of the train, you miss all the lake and steel mills.
Was that in mph on your phone when you were going on the train through Elkhart IN also known as my Hometown.
TheTrainMan What do YOU think? The guy filming this is Russian, so he's using kph. 127kph is about 79mph.
Crusader1815 that sounds a bit more likely because I seen the Amtrak and freight trains go that speed before in Elkhart IN
TheTrainMan I use kph for speed measurement.
I needed an eye transplant after 30 minutes of the herka jerk camera ops.
Why don’t you put what the towns are when the train goes through, otherwise we have to guess. I know, too much work to do that.
Sad to see how much trash there is in the right of way of the highway and tracks.
Take a look at the video Washington DC to New York if you want to talk about trash.
Can't you just sit in one place?
