The 392 chargers are incredible cars for the price! All I did was add 305s to the rear and 275s in the front. Very well balanced and handles extremely well for its platform and weight. I've had one since Feb 2017 and just passed 40,000 miles and practically 0 issues. The uconnect system is amazing too. As much as I love this car, I've been looking at getting myself the gt350! :)

Raiti's Rides agreed! And I had a 2014 Dodge Dart GT. It was my first manual car. I was the 3rd owner when I got it and it only had 18k miles on it. Original owner had to get a new clutch at 3k miles cuz it was slipping and I just had a bunch of electrical issues... as you can see I don’t have good luck with cars 😂 great review tho! Keep it up 👍

What kind of title is that? A watered down hellcat red eye? The Daytona doesnt even come with a hellcat engine at all. It comes with a 5.7 or a 6.4 so no it has nothing to do with a hellcat in anyway shape or form.

    • @RaitisRides

I guess for me what I am wondering is if this Charger Daytona should even exist? Does the Hellcat and Hellcat Redeye make tis car obsolete? I appreciate you taking the time to comment and for your feedback and input!

@@RaitisRides How would the Redeye (priced 25 THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE THAN THIS CAR) make the Daytona obsolete ? For 25k dollars more you get essentially a detuned Demon engine making 312 more hp. Your title is terrible, sorry man. No one is cross shopping a Daytona and a Redeye.

Well, it's not technically an 'all-new 2019 Dodge Charger'. It has been minorly updated, as in one or two things. The 'fake buttons' you were referring to on the steering where are there to remind you that you did not spring for the adaptive cruise control. And though I appreciate your review, please, when reviewing any new car, never touch the plastic in front of the gauge cluster, it's not meant to be touched, it gets fingerprints instantly, and when cleaned, causes scratches... don't touch. :)

Its def weird that the Charger which was once a 2 door muscle car has been turned into a 4 door sedan car.
The Charger Daytona was def an iconic car because of the sloping front and huge wing on the back
The Plymouth Superbird also had similar design
it def looks to be the 6 speed manual gearbox is going out of fashion fast with all those 10 speed autos on the Chevy and Ford and the Dodge's 8 speed are being popular for drag applications
you cant give an excuse about your granny shifting and double clutching

    2. Are the two vent looking openings in the grill that you said you and Tom were debating about, actually functional?
    3. Did you say it can be had in a manual 6-speed as well as the automatic?
    4. Nurse Bertha only gives it a score of 6 out of ten though. She says her hips wouldn't fit in those seats and the steering wheel buttons and paddle shifters are too small for her sausage sized fingers.

That is where they cut some corners to keep the car at a certain price point!

I guess for some people that may drive the car at a track day would want the extra stopping power.

Two different engines lol a non boosted Hellcat engine (6.2) vs a stock 392 engine (6.4) the 6.4 is almost always the better engine and makes more power. Throw the same blower on both cars and it’s not even close built 6.4 all day
