1:02:20ish, John has 1 cultist on the alpha objective and Bridger says "You score points before battle shocking" and that is incorrect. Scoring primary happens at the end of the command phase, the command phase consists of command abilities and rules, AND the battle shock step that comes after is still a part of the command phase. So John would Get CP -> Generate Cabal Points, Select Magnus Abilities, use strategems that say "In the command phase", -> take his battle shock tests -> THEN score primary as he moves into movement phase.
Wahoo first comment! Wanted to note: make sure you measure distances up and down diagonally when flying around with the big boys! (or any fly model). I saw some moves that didnt take that cost into account, really makes these flying daemons a lot slower to get around some of the bigger terrain. Loving the coverage you guys are beasts!!!💖
Also you guys totally coulda been doing that already but wanted to bring this up for anyone that lurks the comments and needed a reminder anyway just in case 😁
You only measure diagonally when starting or ending your movement in elevated terrain though, I believe? If you fly straight over you can just ignore it, unless I am misinterpreting it.
Great game! I feel like a lot of the shooting and melee attacks of the TS characters were missed though... So much good shooting comes from their new psychic attacks, maybe I missed it but I didn't see much of it. Many of them have the pistol keyword to help their melee out too.
Am I stupid or the way I interpret the rules for flying is that you don't HAVE to go around you can go over the top also which isn't always faster but a lot of the time will be. You only have to take them into account for movement, and for a lot of monsters can't stop on them but you can deff just fly over them if you measure the angles.
Not sure if this was covered in the chat in game later, but -1 damage doesn't apply to devastating wounds. -1 damage happens at the allocate wounds step, devastating wounds converts to mortals as soon as you get a 6 to wound, which is before allocate step.
It was mentioned by the guys themselves thats not how it works, probably because of a 10th ed rare rules the public has not seen yet. In 9th ed you are correct though
Adrian keeps shorting himself on his skull shots, he rolled a 2 both times, the first time it was D6+4 because of blast, the second one was D6+3 because of blast, he rolled 5 attacks isntead of 6 the first time, and 4 attacks instead of 5 the second time.
I didn't see it in chat, you may have already figured it out but your wireless mic seems to be picking up ATC/Aircraft Transmission stuff. you may want to see if you can change the frequency of your transmitter/receiver to try to offset that.
GW sent them all the indexes early, and all they've said about points is that they can't comment on points and they aren't using 9th ed points, so its a very safe bet they got points as well and are using them
Feels like demons are super super strong especially being able to field multiple greater demons and the amount of resilience thousand sons where really really outmatched from the beginning I personally feel like a blood thirsted is stronger then Magnus good video but I think there needs to be a limit to the amount of greater demons fielded per 1000 pts
I actually think jon was too conservative with the ressources/used them on the wrong things. You can have half the army psychicly shooting indirect ignoring cover at a target and magnus gives all of them +1 to hit and wound and you have lethal hit access. I think thousand sons is a more complicated and skillful army but in no way outmatched.

It was changed this edition

Im so excited for allies again getting daemons with my CSM so excited
The heaps of 10th ed content are so great
I don't have my glasses is that Greg from Succession playing Warhammer?

You're wrong about battle shock being "end of command phase". Its it own step in the command phase but not done at the "end".
Only just realized that Adrian only really had 2 troops...was wondering how he fit so many greater daemons.

No vortex beast for the sons? Oh my, lost opportunity to go HAM on some chaos
Question: as T-sons player, does that belacor shadow power for only target within 18" apply to rituals as.well, doombolt for example?
You can play Space Wolves with Apothecaries in Gladius Strike Force
Quick UI idea @bridger, could the round marker and points tracker become transparent when you go to top-down? Maybe not possible, just a thought!

I mean... isn't the harpoon devastating, too?
Holy finger guns!!

I really like Jon's shirt. What brand is that?
19 cabol points ?? how i only count 17.
You mathed correctly. Magnus 4, Ahriman 3, Exalted Sorcerer 2, ES on Disc 2, Infernal Master 2, Shaman 1, 2x Rubrics 2, SOT 1.
I might have missed it but where can we find the points cost of these armies?
no points till friday
SHALAXI FEELS NO PAIN
How did you do points?
GW sent them all the indexes early, and all they've said about points is that they can't comment on points and they aren't using 9th ed points, so its a very safe bet they got points as well and are using them
double hazardous means if you die in the game you die in real life.
Do you need Belakor to run combined demons?
nope
I mean you need Be’lakor period if you’re running Daemons. He’s arguably the best single model in the game.
I feel like all the good rolls went to one player and all the shit rolls went to another.

If they did that they would have to actually add all the daemon units. Some factions wouldnt really be able to make an army
10th edition of characters :/
Good
