Can't sleep tonight and watching this at 12.20am. Just loving it and wanting to get my Red Truck back on the road again. I have been in that area on 2 wheels touring solo and really want to get back there. It is some of the best areas to be 4 or 2 Wheeling.
Another great leg to the trip, loved the bush bashing and doubts of if you’d make it through or not, been they’re, but looked fun, that camp and swim great fun times with the lads, awesome guys🤟
that's a mint patrol, my grandad has a 6.5 to, sounds mint, was going over twenty metre dunes at 800 rpm!

Swapping a Chevy diesel into a Patrol made my head explode in a bad way. Why? Would you do that? Lol.
jeep6242 I have a mate that put a 6.5 Chevy diesel into his GU. Thing is horribly slow and thirst, needs boost.
@@darkhorse4148 with all the diesels you have access to in Oz I have no idea why one would pick the Chevy engine which isn't even a good engine in the states.
The usa diesels can pull 20,000 lbs easy there very powerful
@@stuffandthings4026 6.5 is still a pretty blah engine and current L5P 6.2 are pulling like 34,000 lb trailers as are all the other US 1 ton diesels these days.
Slap some Flex Seal tape on that Jerry can. Good to go!
