GIANT Bream On The Maribyrnong River

Another trip to the Maribyrnong River this time with Aaron. We had the same game plan as I had executed on the previous two trips, fish hardbodies on the edges early in the morning and then as the sun gets higher and the tide drops start fishing deeper structure with cranka crabs to target some giant bream. This day was a prime example of how great the bream fishing available in Melbourne is both Aaron and I are fishing off hobie outbacks.

Great session, slow rolling those crankbaits along the banks is a killer. That 43cm bream at the end was an absolute ripper - go the Cranka crabs!

Just off the floating pontoons on the river, there's a few you can launch off depending which section you like
