We're twins! I built up the same bike in the same color a few months ago. I came from riding an intense tracer and I'm loving every minute on this bike. My build is the polar opposite, shimano drivetrain/brakes and rockshox suspension. Enjoy the new rig!

Great vid! I noticed you got the 100 mil dropper, then saw your comment that you’re riding a M size at 5’6”. Brings to mind a question I’ve had, also at 5’6”. Have you tried small frames, and if so why did you choose the medium over the small? One advantage you’d have with the small, is to utilize a dropper with more travel. I ride a small, just based off mfg’s sizing charts, even though I’m technically sort of close to the lower end of the medium sizing height scale. I have a 150 mil dropper, but actually think I could use a 175 mil. I’m a little curious if I may like a medium bike more? I wonder what the advantages may be?

I would probably be ridding a small but since im poor and need to turn over my bikes with the most profit possible I will never ride a small unless I become very well off because Smalls are super hard to sell. right on man that's amazing shoot me some pics on my instagram curious about your build. Its actually very true, I went through worldwide Cyclery and had my cousin pick it up for me in California and I had bike flights ship it to me.
Let me explain, so as you all know I just purchased my Dad's SB 4.5, what you did not know is that the SB 4.5 front and rear triangle arrived completely damaged. Luckily, I shipped the bike through "Bike Flights" and purchased 5,000 in insurance on the bike. Since, Yeti does not make the SB 4.5 anymore, I had to purchase something that was similar to receive the insurance money from Bike Flights. Therefore, I purchased my MTB Dream Mountain Bike the Yeti SB 130. The insurance covered a brand new Yeti Turq SB 130 Frame, Fox Factory Kashima dropper post, and a Fox Factory 36 fork. All other parts were off my Dad's SB 4.5.

it was more then rattling it was basically almost free in the box, it was so disappointing at the time but now looking at it, I had no idea I was going to be able to get my dream bike out of it. however, I did not have a bike for over a month lol

Slow the rebound to 7 clicks from full fast Zero compression And go based of psi I tried 33sag and I couldn't make techy climbs cause bb was too low I would get in the rough stuff and would be too far into the travel Now I'm running zero spacers Shock set to 137mm travel(by simply removing the 2mm spacer that comes on the dpx2) Not sure what sag I'm at but I'm at higher psi which.makes it track way better
All I can say is wow 🤩. If I had the funds I would purchase a new bike. Since I don’t, my 2004 Specialized Epic Marathon will have to do. I did change out the handlebar, grips, pedals and tires. Check it out on instagram wedemanlinda. Love to see you moving forward.
right on man, actuality, Gee Milner does a cinematic style, which is not necessarily original, its kinda like saying that Singltracks Sampler does BKXC style videos, and all the other youtube channels that came after it that are basically copying Nate Hills then BKXC then all the rest that came. Making videos is a passion of mine as well as biking, I even gave credit in the title of the video that it was inspired by Gee Milner, Im not trying to toot my horn here, but not just anyone could recreate a Gee Milner style video, I have learned and worked really hard to get to this point and im not gonna stop here, gonna keep growing and trying new things. No one's work is 100% original unto themselves we all steal from somewhere, but as we do this, hopefully we will strike gold and finally figure out our own original style that makes it our own. There was quite a few transitions in here that Gee Milner does not do, which has kind of been a signature of my videos. Anyways I appreciate the comment brother and I always want to hear what you truly feel, Thanks for keeping it real 😊

i just moved back to cali at the moment but yes this video was filmed in san antonio texas at rideaway bikes with Steve mechanic.

how did the yeti sb 4.5 get damaged???
They did not secure the handlebars and it was basically loose in the box damaging the frame as it travelled

Go with a reputable shop I think the shop I used seemed nice but lacked high end bike experience
