I once read what was supposed to be an interview with Bowie's brother who said his brothers knife was a fighting knife 12inches long and straight blade with no back cut that was a latter addition. That being said it does not take it away from this knife it is stunning in every way and probably your best work yet.
The history of the bowie knife is widely disputed, and was eben during his lifetime. Most historians have made peace with the fact we will never reeally know.
