I'm also going to be honest the way they are handling the sync is not good, like yes you guys want to sync with Jp but I feel like they are doing it too fast. I just wish they could just do a dokkan and slowly sync the game and not release most of the content in a week in hopes to catch up to join faster

Because translation takes time. Also no ones knows if the game will be popular enough for a global release. It will be kind of dumb to waste resources only for the game to EOS in a couple of months.
The plot is also not a one-to-one copy. It is for a few chapters but then splits off into its entirely own thing. THERE IS NO SEASON 2 content at least right now. Season 1 is covered, but then a game-only original villain comes in along with game-only side characters and then the story goes a different direction.

I was waiting for this, especially with all the drama going on. And yes the game has it's own story starting at the fifth chapter iirc. And its pretty good if you consider that there limited within a certain boundaey to not change the story as a whole. It added a few new characters, and gave pre-existing characters some new interactions with the main crew. Especially the events, the events mainly focus on one character and give them their very one side episode. So basically: The gacha and pity system is absolutely HORRENDOUS. The Story is enjoyable, especially if your a fan of JJK. The rewards are so damn bad especially for a Gacha game with limited content as of now. Fuck the banners which the devs keep rushing.

Those who dont know ,at normal pace to get to pity f2p need to save 4 to 6 months SINCE they are rushing like hell f2p and dolphins cant even get half anni units which are to be realeased in 2nd month,december but due to pushback it went back to jan
Some notes: 1. the games story isn’t a full retelling of JJK. It goes through the first season, then it has an original story with original characters, from what I understand. And events like Gojos Vacation are entirely new as far as I know. 2. That 2.8 Google Play Store rating was actually 1.3, until it randomly got about 5K reviews that all said stuff like “Good” and “Gojo is so strong” out of nowhere in a single day.

as a day1 JP player i was looking forward to global for the story and event translations but when i saw how horrid some of the translated stuff was, i was immediately turned off didn't help when they started pushing 3 events and 5 banners at once lol

One thing I heard about the global dev team is that they tried to give out more cubes for global but the Japanese dev stopped them from doing so, mainly because JP fans will get mad.
Personally I found this game to be pretty boring for the short time I played JP. Once you get near late game stuff it seems to be built entirely around ignoring anything the enemy dose (not that they even do anything) and spend 3-6 turns buffing so you can one shot with what ever Gojo recently released.
Not to mention, SSR is still shared between Character AND Recollections. So ya know... Even if you get that Black Flash animation. You may get shafted. I did... 3 SSRs but 2 of em are recollections and the other was a copy. Soooo... Don't give em money. I swear. Cause I will not after that joke of a release and banner handlin xD
First PP review I can take serious. Its really bad but since I have zero fomo it actually works out for (only) me. Well that is until they shut it down lol. One thing I suprisingly like about the game is that it really feels like someone who understood JJK designed all the character movesets (as opposed to FGO). Super fun and honestly better designed than any fan attempts I have seen. Even the dozen events at the same time were easy to handle with the given amount of AP. Bilibili just had to murder the Gacha which unfortunately is all that matters for the whales (easily understandable since their money deserves better)
I played my share of anime ip but iv never seen a game that is poorly handled like releasing all the hyped units in a spam of a month like im not expecting to get every character but 6 banner and to fair the negativity behind the game was also the reason that i dropped it but i dont really blame the fanbase for complaining like there should compensation with the amount of speed runing that the game is going through in order to catch up to jp so far the devs have been silent im really disappointed since the game is actually enjoyable and has potential ....
Did you actually played SLA for a longer period of time? JJK is way worse than SLA in terms of gacha pulls. I play both since launch and SLA definitely way easier to get the new characters, not to mention the devs actually are generous and listen to the player base. JJK is way worse I am quitting.

I love the art direction, the new story and new characters. I think jjk is one of the few series that would benefit from “filler” and the new story would have been a good bridge between season 1 and 2 adds more character interaction, and expands the world a bit. Too bad it’s stuck in a gacha game

Bilibili is known for this shit the moment you pull a character that you need, they start selling you the character materials and artifacts around 50 bucks so you don't have to grind it. Bilibili had 2 games that did this, and one is shutdown, and the other is practically dead.
2:08 there is in fact brand new game-original story, *cough cough you literally have one of the game original characters in your vid at 3:24 and 9:27*, it also has small mini original stories stories in events like Megumi coming to a remote village to investigate people disappearances or recent event where Gojo is trying to collect all the stamps for a sweets shop event while on standby

Ngl I feel the same way. I was excited to see the global release but with how things are going…I just didn’t feel that it was worth continuing. That said, I have an account on the JP version so the loss wasn’t too bad. And I can tell you that the events and banners are better spaced out, and the gacha, horrendous as it still is, has a pity ticket system. I’d recommend you try JP if you still want to play it, so long as you have a VPN (OVPNspider is the only free and good one I found)
Im actually enjoying the game. But spending $700Cad for a guaranteed 1 copy of a character is ridiculous. Pity and rate up needs a rework fast. Im a huge fan of JJK but might drop the game if this goes on
been playin GFL Exilium for a few days now and here's a bit of my thoughts, story is a bit iffy if you haven't played the first one but the game does it's best to give you relevant information so you aren't feeling too confused or left out once some plot references characters or stories from the past OTHERWISE, it's been great, Colphne best girl btw. Love my unhinged medic girl gacha currency wise from my calculation you have enough to get at least 1 hard pity SSR on the event banner and enough to get 2 SSR on the standard ( and + the beginner banner with a guaranteed SSR) [total of 4 SSR or more if you're lucky just from completing the current chapters and onboard event] . the good thing is that all doll banners don't have weapons alongside them so it's a massive plus for f2ps that prefer having a big roster than a few units that are BIS Gameplay wise, very fun, brings back memories of playing Xcom and shadowrun. One concern is that PC has a bug that briefly pauses / stutters either in battle or in the menu which I hope they fix sooner or later but currently it's not intrusive there's PVP but works like Blue archive pvp for defense and attacking style but you can control your team vs an AI with their preset by the enemy. Whales will dominate this for sure but the rewards you want and need are easily achieved just from attacking enemies with similar power levels (good thing the numbers are quite accurate just need the skills to breach the little bits of gaps for f2p vs f2p) now time to wait and see if any of these line up with Pseychie's review

Making an edit here to point out a few things firstly that all characters minus the 0 characters will be added to the standard banner later. the second is that later we will get a pity conversion its a 2 to 1 ratio so 2 multis for 1 multis worth of pity which can be used at any point later on. now does this make the situation better no not in the slightest but I did want to point this out for people regardless
most of the characters released will end up in the standard gacha pool and will be seen again so i dont really mind the speed running of banners. I just wish there were more cube sources. They added the tower but you get hardstuck by typings so it incentivizes pulling so its neg feedback loop. Overall, i enjoy the game but i understand the gacha complaints even though most of it rooted in FOMO💀
It's a real shame that this game turned out this way. I was really looking forward to Phantom Parade because it has an original story, especially since the manga has already ended. So this game was my only hope for more Yuji and Gojo content, but oh well... Stand ashamed, Bilibili.. I won't forget this for as long as I live

I agree they are pumping out events way too fast and pity sucks But as someone who played Disgaea RPG this is honestly not new and im just here as a fan of the series haha If anything i really like the side stories where the characters hang out, its what was needed in the manga But yeah be nice if they slowed down
One general issue with these games is a tendency for the global versions to be handled worse by the publishers for whatever reason. Bilibili being the NA publisher is interesting as most IP games are published by a NA company (Crunchyroll, etc) or a company related to the IP (ala Bandai, Animeplex, etc) This only worsens the general relationship between western players and such games, creating a different rankings than Japan where IP games generally rule
i got super into it until I hit a road bump, the thing is in this game you need like 5 different materials to level up a character which is just do stupid to me. I feel like the over complicated leveling system and cp system is dumb asf I got to around chapter 8 with around 25k cp which at that point in the game it’s super hard to get the mats to level up ONCE i just feel like hitting a roadblock on a ha ha story mode is the stupidest shit ive ever had to deal with long story short if you want to be able to progress in the game spend hell of money trying to get more cp or either grind 50 hours to level up a character by 1
I played jujutsu kaisen phantom parade glb since the day it release when i got to the first week i only had gojo lvl 76 awake 1 and nobara lvl 76 and not even nanami and principal yaga it was so hard without them i couldn't even do some evens thats why i almost quitted they have to give new players some free sr or ssr charcaters or not its gonna be hard for them
everything he said is true, but if you just want to play the game, it's aactually nice nieche strategy game, you didn't have to pull every unit, if you learned enough about the game it's quite fun and managable, i completed all of the contents (no tower) already, it's fun and simple game to spend your time, daily only took me 30-40 min a day, maybe longer when auto repeat event, but my overall game wise i am having a blast without spending a dime, yes money can make things easier but for me trial and error also struggling a bit is what makes it fun with that said monetization, dev jerkmove and horrendous management of the game it deserved it's 1s review edit : it's not 1 to 1 story, it actually has new plot/storyline with new characters didn't exist in the manga/anime two to be exact, saki rindou and kaito yuki, they branched on the story of jujutsu high fukuoka branch which original with the game, also in the future there will be more new story line doesn't exist in the manga/anime
What I do not like about this game is how low impact it seems when an ultimate is done by a character. Like Goju does an ultimate, WOW the wind suddenly got strong and shakes the screen then its done. Like WTH. I was expecting more of a bang boom capoosh!

its such a waste because it would honestly be an amazing game if they would just fix how HORRIBLY stupid their banner and event scheduling has been… if they don’t either add A LOT more ways for players to farm resources and to do so freely so that people can ACTUALLY play the damn game (that’s what games are for????) because currently it only takes around 20 seconds to use up the 400-500 or so stamina that you’ll have after waiting the 14 hours or whatever for it to charge up, THAT ORRRR… keep it how it currently is but lowering the cost of 10x pulls from 3000 to 1500. this isn’t just a suggestion either🤦🏻this is something that MUST get fixed or else everyone is going to eventually just quit playing entirely even though they like the game otherwise due to how RETARDED it is for them to have literally 8 banners going on a the same damn time as well as being forced to rush through 2-3 freaking simultaneously held events of which the amount of total rewards for ALL of them after being fully completed (which btw takes multiple HOURS) ends up being NOT EVEN ENOUGH FOR A SINGLE FUCKING 10x PULL… meanwhile there’s like 10 goddamn banners all going on at the SAME time and you end up with NONE of the new characters because not to mention there’s also a super shitty 2.5% pull rate instead of the typical 5% rate, so not only that but also HALF the usual pull rate as well it’s almost as if the developers have no clue what they’re doing and are actively wanting to sabotage and ruin their own game they spent a lot of time developing it’s so dumb honestly.. and from my impression of the company they seem to be incredibly stubborn and refusing to do what is needed in order to make the game sustainable they seem to only be after short term cash and to not give a fuck at all about making the game good and lasting… so yeah I’d definitely say skip this too even though if you’ve seen the animation and art style but havent yet actually picked it up and started youre prob confused and thinking “what you mean skip? it looks fucking amazing” and to that I agree. I've played a decent amount of gacha games, but this one takes the cake for the worst gacha system (for me at least), the events are pretty good though (story not rewards), especially since they tend to focus on a single character, making them shine more.
Having a starting banner you can endlessly reroll for your account is extremely based, it reminds me of SinOAlice (I don't play a lot of gacha so maybe it's far more common). Too bad the rest of this game is greedy ass.
I'm gonna warn everyone now, one of the parties involved with this game, Sumzap, also made KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. If you were to compare these games, it is astounding how much was taken from KonoSuba for this game, and KonoSuba barely lasted three years with its visual novel format. Even as a fan of KonoSuba (the series), I'm only playing it now to show support before it shuts down in January. If you want a game that will last a while, stay far away from Jujutsu, at least for now.
I know it's another IP based gacha but have you tried Overlord's Lord of Nazarick? It released about a month ago! I think It's a lot better than the previous Overlord gacha that EoS'd Mass for the Dead, it at the very least seems to have higher budget
Anime IP gacha tends to be leaning towards auto-garbage cash grab but apparently the JP server is actually decent. Global just got massively screwed over, and the fans who don't know better probably don't realize they're getting scammed.
This is the grabbiest cash grab I ever did see. Unfortunate too, I really like the franchise. Grand Cross might be the only IP "gacha" that actually found it's own footing. JPP Globally paced itself away from casual people, and the crazy fact that you couldn't skip the modules in any of the event content. When they Doubled the rewards they didn't allow the player to skip hard or even normal content. Gacha's are supposed to be quick 15-45 min. get the dailies out of the way wait for a character you want to collect. JPP (global) made it impossible to enjoy.
i have been playing the jp version of jjk phantom parade since it’s launch and i have had many frustrations over the gacha: 1. 3000 of those crystals for a 10 pull and i can only get 1500 crystals during an event which happens in only a few months 2. the p2w is just crazy, i have always thought of quitting the game but ive alrdy made so much progress 3. just utterly saddening to see the game go down the road of p2w

Some notes:
1. the games story isn’t a full retelling of JJK. It goes through the first season, then it has an original story with original characters, from what I understand. And events like Gojos Vacation are entirely new as far as I know.
2. That 2.8 Google Play Store rating was actually 1.3, until it randomly got about 5K reviews that all said stuff like “Good” and “Gojo is so strong” out of nowhere in a single day.
To anyone saying its gonna get better, Fgo was literally unplayable with an horrendous gacha, now fgo is playable but the gacha is still abysmal 😂😂

After knowing it's bilibili games that publish the global version ,it's already dead set on arrival. Mainly due their infamously for not compensate player for making tactic like these. The typo is horrendously bad and the cash shop is 2x as much than it necessarily should.

One thing I heard about the global dev team is that they tried to give out more cubes for global but the Japanese dev stopped them from doing so, mainly because JP fans will get mad.
Personally I found this game to be pretty boring for the short time I played JP. Once you get near late game stuff it seems to be built entirely around ignoring anything the enemy dose (not that they even do anything) and spend 3-6 turns buffing so you can one shot with what ever Gojo recently released.

Its really bad but since I have zero fomo it actually works out for (only) me. Well that is until they shut it down lol.
One thing I suprisingly like about the game is that it really feels like someone who understood JJK designed all the character movesets (as opposed to FGO). Super fun and honestly better designed than any fan attempts I have seen.
Even the dozen events at the same time were easy to handle with the given amount of AP.
Bilibili just had to murder the Gacha which unfortunately is all that matters for the whales (easily understandable since their money deserves better)

Did you actually played SLA for a longer period of time? JJK is way worse than SLA in terms of gacha pulls. I play both since launch and SLA definitely way easier to get the new characters, not to mention the devs actually are generous and listen to the player base. JJK is way worse I am quitting.

I love the art direction, the new story and new characters. I think jjk is one of the few series that would benefit from “filler” and the new story would have been a good bridge between season 1 and 2 adds more character interaction, and expands the world a bit. Too bad it’s stuck in a gacha game

Ngl I feel the same way. I was excited to see the global release but with how things are going…I just didn’t feel that it was worth continuing.
That said, I have an account on the JP version so the loss wasn’t too bad. And I can tell you that the events and banners are better spaced out, and the gacha, horrendous as it still is, has a pity ticket system.
I’d recommend you try JP if you still want to play it, so long as you have a VPN (OVPNspider is the only free and good one I found)
After chrunchyroll's gacha game and seeing how that turned including the SECOND Slime gacha, i learned my lesson.
Im actually enjoying the game. But spending $700Cad for a guaranteed 1 copy of a character is ridiculous. Pity and rate up needs a rework fast. Im a huge fan of JJK but might drop the game if this goes on
been playin GFL Exilium for a few days now and here's a bit of my thoughts,
story is a bit iffy if you haven't played the first one but the game does it's best to give you relevant information so you aren't feeling too confused or left out once some plot references characters or stories from the past
OTHERWISE, it's been great, Colphne best girl btw. Love my unhinged medic girl
gacha currency wise from my calculation you have enough to get at least 1 hard pity SSR on the event banner and enough to get 2 SSR on the standard ( and + the beginner banner with a guaranteed SSR) [total of 4 SSR or more if you're lucky just from completing the current chapters and onboard event] . the good thing is that all doll banners don't have weapons alongside them so it's a massive plus for f2ps that prefer having a big roster than a few units that are BIS
Gameplay wise, very fun, brings back memories of playing Xcom and shadowrun. One concern is that PC has a bug that briefly pauses / stutters either in battle or in the menu which I hope they fix sooner or later but currently it's not intrusive
there's PVP but works like Blue archive pvp for defense and attacking style but you can control your team vs an AI with their preset by the enemy. Whales will dominate this for sure but the rewards you want and need are easily achieved just from attacking enemies with similar power levels (good thing the numbers are quite accurate just need the skills to breach the little bits of gaps for f2p vs f2p)
now time to wait and see if any of these line up with Pseychie's review

Making an edit here to point out a few things firstly that all characters minus the 0 characters will be added to the standard banner later. the second is that later we will get a pity conversion its a 2 to 1 ratio so 2 multis for 1 multis worth of pity which can be used at any point later on. now does this make the situation better no not in the slightest but I did want to point this out for people regardless

most of the characters released will end up in the standard gacha pool and will be seen again so i dont really mind the speed running of banners. I just wish there were more cube sources. They added the tower but you get hardstuck by typings so it incentivizes pulling so its neg feedback loop. Overall, i enjoy the game but i understand the gacha complaints even though most of it rooted in FOMO💀

One general issue with these games is a tendency for the global versions to be handled worse by the publishers for whatever reason.
Bilibili being the NA publisher is interesting as most IP games are published by a NA company (Crunchyroll, etc) or a company related to the IP (ala Bandai, Animeplex, etc)
This only worsens the general relationship between western players and such games, creating a different rankings than Japan where IP games generally rule

i got super into it until I hit a road bump, the thing is in this game you need like 5 different materials to level up a character which is just do stupid to me. I feel like the over complicated leveling system and cp system is dumb asf I got to around chapter 8 with around 25k cp which at that point in the game it’s super hard to get the mats to level up ONCE i just feel like hitting a roadblock on a ha ha story mode is the stupidest shit ive ever had to deal with
long story short if you want to be able to progress in the game spend hell of money trying to get more cp or either grind 50 hours to level up a character by 1
I played jujutsu kaisen phantom parade glb since the day it release when i got to the first week i only had gojo lvl 76 awake 1 and nobara lvl 76 and not even nanami and principal yaga it was so hard without them i couldn't even do some evens thats why i almost quitted they have to give new players some free sr or ssr charcaters or not its gonna be hard for them

everything he said is true, but if you just want to play the game, it's aactually nice nieche strategy game, you didn't have to pull every unit, if you learned enough about the game it's quite fun and managable, i completed all of the contents (no tower) already, it's fun and simple game to spend your time, daily only took me 30-40 min a day, maybe longer when auto repeat event, but my overall game wise i am having a blast without spending a dime, yes money can make things easier but for me trial and error also struggling a bit is what makes it fun
with that said monetization, dev jerkmove and horrendous management of the game it deserved it's 1s review
edit : it's not 1 to 1 story, it actually has new plot/storyline with new characters didn't exist in the manga/anime two to be exact, saki rindou and kaito yuki, they branched on the story of jujutsu high fukuoka branch which original with the game, also in the future there will be more new story line doesn't exist in the manga/anime

I've played a decent amount of gacha games, but this one takes the cake for the worst gacha system (for me at least), the events are pretty good though (story not rewards), especially since they tend to focus on a single character, making them shine more.

I'm gonna warn everyone now, one of the parties involved with this game, Sumzap, also made KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. If you were to compare these games, it is astounding how much was taken from KonoSuba for this game, and KonoSuba barely lasted three years with its visual novel format. Even as a fan of KonoSuba (the series), I'm only playing it now to show support before it shuts down in January. If you want a game that will last a while, stay far away from Jujutsu, at least for now.
I know it's another IP based gacha but have you tried Overlord's Lord of Nazarick? It released about a month ago! I think It's a lot better than the previous Overlord gacha that EoS'd Mass for the Dead, it at the very least seems to have higher budget

This is the grabbiest cash grab I ever did see. Unfortunate too, I really like the franchise. Grand Cross might be the only IP "gacha" that actually found it's own footing. JPP Globally paced itself away from casual people, and the crazy fact that you couldn't skip the modules in any of the event content. When they Doubled the rewards they didn't allow the player to skip hard or even normal content. Gacha's are supposed to be quick 15-45 min. get the dailies out of the way wait for a character you want to collect. JPP (global) made it impossible to enjoy.

1. 3000 of those crystals for a 10 pull and i can only get 1500 crystals during an event which happens in only a few months
2. the p2w is just crazy, i have always thought of quitting the game but ive alrdy made so much progress
3. just utterly saddening to see the game go down the road of p2w
